Can you try underclocking, lowering your monitor's refresh rate to 75 (or whatever is closest and under 90) and capping FPS to same value used for the monitor refresh rate?

I've been trying to diagnose this issue since December, but I have a Radeon card (5700XT). You might have to underclock pretty significantly. I'm underclocking by almost 300MHz. Might be able to go a little higher, but I can get 60-75 FPS no problem with 1800MHz, so I'm leaving it there for now. Let me know the settings you used if you're able to try this please! Trying to collect some data points now, since I'm not convinced anymore that this will ever be fixed by driver updates.

Edit: FYI, you can loop the Shadowbringers benchmark to test, so you can step away from the computer. I think since you're on Nvidia, this should be fine. Radeon software has some shenanigans going on with game profiles that may be causing problems.

Hey and thank you for the reply!

I've been trying to diagnose this problem too! I have tried underclocking significantly by 502MHz through MSI Afterburner and sadly the problem still occurs. What made this problem occur less and less is by making my shadows 540p(low) and to be honest it is not the most pleasant to look at. I will try to lower my monitor's refresh rate and capping my fps, even though it will make my experience less enjoyable, but it's better than nothing. I'm just wondering what is causing this error to begin with? is it the gpu? or is it because of overheating?
