Ugh, no.

Sitting around having to do nothing but wait for the chance for the right weather to show up at the right time, sometimes not even wanting to move from a particular spot if it was difficult to get there in the first place, is the pinnacle of uncompelling gameplay. I'm not sad to see that gone and I hope that never comes back, and it seems SE is in agreement with that if the last three expansions are any indication.
