They should just use the Ready check UI for loot rolls and PF ques just so you know who hasn't rolled/clicked commence
So that is possibly 2 more runs, if everyone is running well and doing things correctly. I guess if it is worth rolling the dice two more times you can really hound people in chat who haven't rolled yet. If you reduce the loot timer by only 3 more minutes than you would be saving 3 minutes per run on people who wait it out and in 6 runs that would be 18 minutes, which is only one more run. So reducing the timer doesn't give you a significant difference in time.It adds up though. You run a raid 6 times because there’s a piece of gear you need, and you have been unlucky. Someone each time decides to spend 5 mins rolling. That adds up to 30 mins of your time wasted overall. For literally no reason other than someone trying to be scummy and make people leave.
If theyre gonna make me wait 5 mins to roll for loot, I don’t want them in my mount farming groups. I’ve had people do it to me before in my farms, and I don’t feel like dealing with those kinds of peopleDisplaying names would lead to harassment and drama. Thank you, no.
Reducing the roll timer to 60 seconds would be fine. Someone who fails to roll in that time always has the opportunity to run the instance again for another chance.
You're not being clever, either. Blacklisting that player doesn't accomplish other than prevent them from joining a party you list in Party Finder. They can still be randomly matched to the same group as you if you're queuing in Duty Finder.
They also usually aren't doing anything wrong.
The real problem is the length of the roll timer. If SE would shorten that, there would be no cause for complaints about being delayed at the end of duty.
If we're going to reduce the roll timer, we have to be very careful since some people have cutscenes to watch.
I don't think this is a big issue to begin with. I'm one of those people who will just roll and do something else if others are too slow.

When I roll, I wont leave til the thing I rolled on is mine or it has a check by it..unless my roll is trash, like 7 or something, yeah I'm out.
"Displaying names would lead to harassment".
... Why the person holding the party hostage to receive loot shouldn't be called out for this behavior? Like, yes, drama and harassment are bad, but "I'm going to sit right here for the next five minutes and not loot. You either wait with me or leave and try again, teehee" is just as bad.
While I personally don't have an issue with waiting loot timers, I don't see why we should "protect" people that do that on purpose just because they rolled a 9 and are too stubborn to run the duty again.
no one gonna wait 5 minutes to roll for a mount in farming party, even in pug PF, stop making that up, most of time it only happen in duty roulette where not eveyone care bout loot and other in party keep go looting spree and open every chest they pass by and 24 man dungeon where you will just run it 1 or 2 time at most before getting sick of it
Tbh there were plenty amount of times when I was disconnected in the end of the battle. Reconnecting mostly takes at least 2 minutes, because disconnection is not a normal log out, and for some time your characters still stays in the game. Making roll timer 30 seconds means that there will be people who will be automatically excluded from recieving the loot despite the fact they actually participated in battle just as anybody else.
That said, making timer shorter than 1 minute isn't a good idea either, just as much as having a bit too long 5 minutes one.
Some people will 100% do this in a mount party. Theyve decided theyre leaving after this pull, and if it gives them a better shot at the mount they will certainly wait. And there were people running the most recent 24man dozens of times in the first couple weeks trying to get their glamour pieces. And that was with 3 drops per run. If its a single drop like the rare mini it can be worse. I happen to be a stubborn one. I make my rolls, and if im above a 2 im waiting until the loot is distributed to leave no matter what. You wait if you want, im gonna go get a snack or use the bathroom. If your waiting wont get me to leave early with a roll of a 3, then whats the point of waiting?no one gonna wait 5 minutes to roll for a mount in farming party, even in pug PF, stop making that up, most of time it only happen in duty roulette where not eveyone care bout loot and other in party keep go looting spree and open every chest they pass by and 24 man dungeon where you will just run it 1 or 2 time at most before getting sick of it
