Yeah, but the way FFXIV draws a hard line between pvp abilities and pve abilities would make it really hard to implement. Especially since the pvp stuff isn't based on gear to buff your damage etc. Which would mean either dealing with those ramifications in FFXIV's open world, or just making open world pvp use the pve skill sets that are not at all concerned with pvp balance, be int in 1v1 or group vs group. It would just be a disaster.
