The Scions have shown to have the ability to disable rather than slay their opponents when restraint is required of them. Somehow I doubt the reaction would be indifference if it was a pregnant Hume, Mystel or Viis being cut down in similar circumstances. I understand why they did it, though it's a matter of perspective and as far as I see it, they are not the righteous party in that particular case.

And what would that have done? It was the Ondo that outright said that they have tried for peace. That they have tried to talk to them. Disable them would not change anything at all..it would just mean that she will give birth to a huge amount of warriors that will slay the innocent people.

If Hume and others could give enough birth to raise an army then yes we would have killed them too but they dont. And unlike more human like beings you cant just throw her in prison which would probably be the solution for Hume and other people.
