Is the issue immersion or being offended by outfits?

If the issue is immersion, sorry but things like golden pig costumes and skimpy miqo dancers and hildebrand are part of this setting. That falls flat. If the creators of the game thought these glams were a problem they could easily make things like bikinis and toad costumes non glamable, but they've chosen not to. They're part of the setting, it's just a part of the setting you don't happen to like. This isn't game of thrones or lord of the rings. It's final fantasy.

Is it just not liking how people dress? Sorry but asking the devs to let you control how other characters appear on your screen is a waste of dev time and kind of pathetic. Cutscenes with parties in this game are very short pre/post fight scenes you barely have to see anyone else in a cutscene, and in battle there are more important things to focus on. The point of getting so up in arms about how other people glam you're going to demand devs give you a way to block it out is kind of hilarious.
