As it is, we don't even know if Ruby Weapon can be piloted like a mechanical can. The weird Ultima-like Weapon Estinean fought had someone grafted into it practically...

I agree with most of your post but as for this we do see someone sitting in a cockpit and piloting Ruby as it launches, right at the start of the trailer. It's different armor than the Au Ra girl though, and like you said, it's unlikely Garlemald would trust a non-Garlean to pilot the Weapons in the first place.



Actually their arms look the same, but their chestpieces are totally different. Maybe the Au Ra is part of the Ruby Weapon squad, just not the pilot.
