The think the dev team owe the Viera and Hrothgar community some info on when we can expect something new. It's been long enough.

As hard as this sounds, Viera and Hrothgar were a last min thing and the team is strictly focused on playable content over cosmetics. I say be grateful we have them and just fant until they get more stuff which most likely will be mid to late ShB and the beginning of 6.0 when they a lot more free development time and stop acting like they're lazy, and stop being entitled.
It's okay- the hair doesn't even look good
It's a "Karen wants to speak to your Manager" hair
Its entitled to want your player character to not be shafted on options that all the other player races get access to?As hard as this sounds, Viera and Hrothgar were a last min thing and the team is strictly focused on playable content over cosmetics. No one should be grateful for Viera and Hrothgar; they paid for Shadowbringers to have access to them. Many people paid for Fantasia so they could turn their current character into one of them. People are paying Square-Enix monthly as they play these races and are not getting updates they said they would get and are seeing other races get updates. Square-Enix didn't do this out of the goodness of their heart; they did it to give Shadowbringers another selling point and i don't think it's fair to call people entitled (because i know how you are attempting to use that word) for wanting Square-Enix to actually support the new races as they said they would.
Y'know, maybe people should act entitled about getting things for Viera and Hrothgar, because as paying customers who bought the expansion required to play them and by paying the monthly subscription fee, i think those players who are playing those races are actually entitled to having features released for them as well.

You know...I don't really care about the new two limited races, but sometimes people make it seem like it was a privilege to have them. It's really not. The devs are making tons of money off fantasias. The possibility to switch to another race costs as much as 1/4th of the launch price of a new expansion...this puts things into perspective, right? As hard as this sounds, Viera and Hrothgar were a last min thing and the team is strictly focused on playable content over cosmetics. It's not like there's a cheaper "limited fantasia" for viera and hrothgar that accounts for the fact that they're limited races. Of course, the current situation is in part due to players's acceptance of whatever questionable monetization policy the dev team has pulled off in the last few years when it comes to cosmetic content.
This is straight non-sense.
Like, I get it. These threads are always started & filled up by Viera or Viera hopefuls because they want new things for their dress up doll. I get that Viera, be it to their attention or not, get hit harder from this set up than they realize because of same face/ twinning due to their lack of options.
But you can be grateful for these races and still wait for more. If you like how they look and enjoy playing them then you prob see value in them and should also realize that the time and effort to make them could have gone to any number of things. Heck, if you enjoy their look you should also realize that this look you enjoy makes it so that they can't get everything the other races get.
If you don't play them then you can enjoy seeing them pop up in your duty party or walking about seeing as their unique looks bring a wave of freshness to this game ... and you can be grateful for that.
I find it hard to have any sympathy for Viera in these discussions. I know, it sucks to wait. But we've known that they would never get shared hair styles or have all the head gear (AKA no Hats/ Helms) and that they would have to wait for the unique hairs they DO get to come later than other races. We've known this for some time now.
If a cook tells you the fish you want takes much longer to make than others and that you'll have to wait longer than others who order the reg menu meals I don't shed any tears for you stumping your feet about it when you could order some other fish or wait. Like, they said more than once they're gonna do it ... it's not a matter of if but when. So what's the point in these threads?
I feel like someone is going to respond to this with something along the lines of waiting an exuberant amount of time for said "food" though honestly considering the lifespan of the two new races it hasn't been that long. Could be argued that the other races have seen hairstyles released within 2 patches while the new ones haven't seen anything yet but could be that the older "dishes" or rather how hair works with older races is just easier to prepare/implement. I'm still prepared to wait for more hairstyles. I'm not really dismayed by the current options. however at some point though it becomes just empty words on SE's part if they continue to address the topic and say they're being worked on but go nowhere with it. How long is too long just varies by person. If a cook tells you the fish you want takes much longer to make than others and that you'll have to wait longer than others who order the reg menu meals I don't shed any tears for you stumping your feet about it when you could order some other fish or wait. I get the complaints about it but you knew this was going to happen when you switched to it, they said they would be limited by things and you agreed to this upon switching but there's still an outcry over it? Kind of sounds like you're just shooting yourself in the foot here, you really aren't forced to play this new race you knew was going to be limited
true, i phantasied to viera at after xpac maintenant finish to do MSQ, but after i finished it, i change back to my old au ra because of the lack of hair style for this races
Yes, it is. Square or Yohsi and team could have literally not given us a new race at all just like they did back in Stormblood.
The Viera/Fran and the Hrothgar could have instead just been NPCs that we woukd stare at and WISH we could have, and it would be completly up to them to develop Playabe Avatar models or not.
Its not a Right to have these Races, we could have just not had them, at all.
