Yes, it is. Square or Yohsi and team could have literally not given us a new race at all just like they did back in Stormblood.
The Viera/Fran and the Hrothgar could have instead just been NPCs that we woukd stare at and WISH we could have, and it would be completly up to them to develop Playabe Avatar models or not.
Its not a Right to have these Races, we could have just not had them, at all.

The concept of privilege when it comes to essentially a business transaction is an interesting one. Do you feel privileged you bought a car from say, Ford for example? They didnt have to make that model. I dunno, it's an interesting one. I worry if you dip into the realms of feeling that businesses dont have at least standards to meet, they know they have no consequences for crappy business practices? Not saying SE does any but the idea of feeling privilege from a company that exists mainly to make money is interesting to me.

I would feel privileged if racing legend Carroll Shelby had sold me a Ford Mustang Cobra GT-500 from Shelby American. But that's just a weird quirk of a racing legend making some really nice cars through a weird partnership with Ford.

Wanting to see if I understand the point you're trying to make. So you are saying that Viera and Hrothgar are being denied access to things that were delivered for them? Or is this to do with hairstyles available to the other races not being available to Viera and Hrothgar?

The second part! They are the only races where it's apparently acceptable to just ignore when you release things like hairstyles.

Well if it hasn't been delivered then pretty much says it.
It's probably not an easy task, but I can't speak for the devs. It's 2 different races having only like what 6-7 months from the expansion. I'm pretty sure it's not of a matter of they don't care because they went out of their way on their own time to make 500+ things wearable for the races when they first came out.

I love Vieras and I loved my bunbun but I ended up changing back - that said, while I understand that OLD hairstyles may take some time I do NOT understand NEW hairstyles. And I am sure I do speak not only for myself in that matter. I would like to know why we dont get new hairstyles, its like a few mins of explaining on their part to let us know why we cant get new hairstyles.

I didn't say anything about it being an easy task or whether or not SE cares, but people coming in and saying "I know you're disappointed but it's hard on them so you shouldn't be" isn't helpful to anyone. I love this game but they're not my friends, I don't need to give them some slack when they make bad choices like this.
