I wish we got both and could wear both. I like the way masculine attire looks on my lady roe because cutsey dresses only ever work on smol and skinny races. Something femroe are not. Also handy for when I glam retainers and my squad.

I also don't care for the chocolate fountains. And there aren't even mini-games so eh.

I wish the fountain was separate from the main tray. The wine and cake from last year was great. I like simpler aesthetics and not massive, massive meals. Heck, our WoL being a lightweight is even optional given the Ahm Araeng quest with Gan Ghan... Or was it Ron Rhon?

That's mostly why I don't like it, either. As a max height Viera poofy skirts look... off...

Agreed. I play as female Highlander and dresses really don't work for this most of the time. I try to work with what the game gives me, but if there is any gear close to the this event's male gear (which is exactly what I was hoping to get for my character one day), it's locked behind higher level crafting classes. I was happy when my weaver reached 50, which was super fast with Ishgard restoration and while I'm fine with walking around as a weaver when I do smaller stuff, I'm unable to show off to Dungeons and farmings in the clothes I like the most.

In general, I think both gear options look neat and well designed, but dresses just aren't my kind of thing and every time there's an event with gender-locked gear, I know, I won't like the option for my character. I already tried playing as different characters, but female Highlander is what I feel the most comfortable with. Now only if the clothes would match.
Anyway, I'll pick the blue option. Mainly because blue is my favourite colour.
