    Gen X, I grew up in the age of "big" hair and hair metal ballads. Everything was in some way related to hair. My very earliest gaming memories are of playing Swords & Serpents and a bizarre but awesome game called Microsurgeon on the Intellivision.

Gambling irl money for P2W items aimed at young kids really rubbed me the wrong way and I quit to play WoW (Since I also finally got a computer that could play other MMOs), until FFXIV ARR came out, in which I switched to that.

    I am from the generation that is often forgotten, much like the Korean War.

    I was in my twenties when I played my first MMO (EverQuest: Ruins of Kunark), when I switched from Guild Wars 1 to play WoW, when the pokemon card game took off & when I started collecting Beanie Babies.

    I was in my thirties when I first tried out Final Fantasy XI, which I didn't like, was in the Final Fantasy XIV betas for 1.0 & 2.0.

    I was 40 when Shadowbringers launched & Shadowlands was announced.

    Basically, I'm old enough to not be a millenial or a zoomer or gen Y but younger than a boomer.
