Why the JP community mentality is superior to the EN community mentality

I also once heard from someone working with a jP company that it can be quite annoying because of their mentality of keeping once face. Instead of telling their opinion about a product or project they try talking around it which makes it harder.

This is very true in Thailand, where locals would rather say yes all the time when you ask if a direction is correct as opposed to admitting they don't know (and thus making you unhappy). Obviously, once I realise I'm walking in the wrong direction THEN I'll be unhappy. But that doesn't count apparently. lol
