I agree that pvp needs work, but if the rewards wasnt there then they would be somewhere else. That's just how those things go. Shit I'd take that over ovetwatches system all day everyday. The garo event wasnt completely under SE's control. So when their partner says they gotta go. Well... they gotta go. I get that it sucks, but and I hate to say it like this but... if you want the items then you have to put aside the time to do em. Or in some cases put aside the money for em. This will never go away as that's literally the world we live in. Everything cost something. And not everything will be behind things we like.

You pay SE $15 so they will let you access their servers. Its not a payment for instant free access too all of the games content and rewards.

No. Yours mines and everyone's 15 goes to keep our xiv lights on. Nothing else. It doesn't give you instant wins gear or costumes. Those are extra and if you want them you have to do more.
