Please consider removing Bolt from The Feast

Does it happen often in top high ranked Feast to have bad positionning? (it's a real question as I'm not there).

Do you happen to answer to people without being sarcastic? I said it's a real question to have a genuine answer.
The purpose of my question was to make the autor understands we shouldn't balance the game to low ranked people. And if they don't do bad positionnal at top high rank, then why remove that skill if the problem would be it can help people having bad positionning, which doesn't happen at high rank.

@Melo strongly agree btw, rather start punishing some of these rambos who just go in and if there's no CC up (which there probably won't be) simply hit bolt and they're safe. At the very least you should be allowed to punish the healer (the role with no mobility) for going in with them. With the amount of mobility now in the game and the size of the map, there's no reason for it still exist in ranked 4v4. Frontlines obviously yes, but that goes for basically any large map, if we were still playing on Feasting Grounds or even Lichenweed I'd be advocating for it to stay. I'd like to think this would encourage more people to play safe but we both know better.

I think the "Well ye" can be see as sarcasm. It does sound like it. But it's not false. You can get plat with 35%-40% win ratio.
Either way, the amount of people that think Bolt is fine in this current iteration of Feast is concerning. It's already the worst season considered by most and Bolt does not help or serve a purpose in the mode.

I thought you were ironic, saying it was actually obviously not free to be really HL in this game. But so you're saying it's really free to be HL and have noobs playing with good players at highest level of matchmaking. And I'm not crying, you're obnoxious overall in your way to speak to people (not only to me). So you're acting like an ass overall and if we dare to complain, we're crying? Good defense, interesting. And that was my chance? Of what? Do you hear yourself? Do you believe you're actually relevant to me? Trust me I will deal very well to not see you answering me at all. And you make up I don't like the result of your answer when it's actually exactly the answer I was looking for (minus the form of it obviously), and I said it (but it seems I understood the opposite as you were actually not ironic). In your overall way of being on the forum, you're obviously someone hard to be around with, and I would not be surprised you have often dramas around. Good luck.

And Thx Melo for your answer. Once again, it's not bad positionning if you have Bolt up and do it on purpose. But I guess you want positionning to be something more punishing overall. It could be more competitive this way, I guess. Maybe they are just trying to see how it goes (and the season should help to get reviews to future balance), and maybe they are just lazy to put it as an general skill in a mode (FL) and not in another (Feast). I find it fun, but I agree 30sec is too short.

if i answer and its not "delete this" 9/10 times the answer is serious, im just not gonna write an essay cos no1 wants to read a wall of text, i've already been there and done that. if i cba replying at all it means it's not even worth memeing. Do I act like an ass? probs, but there's way worse than me in this community, the fact i take everything for a joke is taken out of proportion in the majority of cases, including by you. And yeah, it was crying, you didn't like the manner in which I dealt with your question; fair enough - but then ask me to elaborate and again - I generally will; I don't avoid a serious discussion; it's just I won't take 90% of forum posters seriously; you've been here for 4 years, maybe if you can look past the veil of whatever it is that makes you see everything as a personal attack; you'd probably understand why. Because they're the same people that will ask for something to be nerfed based on something that happened to them in a silver game and people get behind it because dia/plat level players are seriously outnumbered in this section and the few that'll read it, won't post. Ask the decent EU players who have met me in person at SE events, or even those who don't even like me; but have discussed balance with me in the past - I'm literally nothing of the sort you think I am.

And I probably have less drama behind me than 90% of active European feasters that have some kind of discord or forum presence because I generally won't bite since it's pointless to argue with stupid; and I do actually help people when possible rather than flame them the vast majority of the time (the latter only really happening if it's someone that literally won't take help or doesn't change, because it means they're not inexperienced, they're just bad.)

To elaborate on what Melo said (and partially what I said) - depends what you consider high ranked. Plat/Dia is considered "high" I'd say by the vast majority of the community; so that'd include frontline players, casuals, pvers etc. I don't know which group you fall into in general. And thusforth, based on the fact that you can get plat after losing more than you win, which puts you into games against people that can be r1; yes, in high ranked games bad positioning doesn't just happen - it's extremely common and the later the season gets; the worse it is because eventually those people in gold will graduate to plat based on what Melo just said. And thus, they will be a part of high ranked games and many absolutely do not adapt. If you want an example of high ranked games, watch some vods from BrianRicardo's last stream as of this post with him queueing on Chaos (ignore the plat/gold games). 4v4 Plat/Dia but I'd say almost everyone in those games was Diamond level for the most part, with the rest being high plat. Watch how many times bases were dived into and count how many times it went unpunished, then count how many bolts are active on the team retreating. In many of them, one team overstayed and someone should have been punished. Nami got punished at one point I think and it's literally because I got too greedy with damage, otherwise generally we'd have all got out easily.

TLDR - 90% of the time I'm taking the piss and it's obvious when and only happens if it literally isn't worth the effort, the other 10% is when I'll actually post something that isn't a meme and means I'm open to a chat. Don't blame me. Blame an extremely soft community. But I otherwise genuinely care about every single serious discussion in this section. Cya.

Not as fun. Not enough jimmies rustled. Section would be dead if people only ever posted things that are actually relevant. I can go on. And even then, I still contribute more positively to this section and community as a whole than you do. I don't force anyone to read anything I post or watch anything I make, if you do and get tilted, it's a you problem, if you misinterpret it - it's a you problem, if you don't like me - it's a you problem; it makes zero difference to me whichever outcome. Now if you'll excuse me, Hopkins is having an absolute whopper of a game in my madden CFM, so I'm gonna have to love you and leave you, but my discord dms are always open to you xx

Ps: I used to only post the 10%, which was actually 100% and it was rarely taken seriously or people couldn't be bothered to have a discussion because of how dead this section is and the fact that because something is considered good/bad in frontlines, the patrons of this section don't get why, generally, that it doesn't mean it's the same in feast and I got tired of being sensible I guess. I dunno why I'm even being serious now, guess no matter how much of a twat I pretend to be I can never pass up an opportunity to prove a point.
