    That's... the point.. newer and lower skill players should be learning how to position correctly, not getting out of jail free cards from Bolt.

    Totally agree with you on this, bolt in feast has no depth in it and to counter someone using it you just bolt yourself and it's just silly, it also hurts casters alot when you can just bolt around walls and such, there's no punish for positioning bad as you said, It should be a FL ability only.

    You can also do some things thx to Bolt, it's not only for bad positionning. If your healer dies, you're glad to be able to use it and leave before you're getting controled and killed. Having your healer dead is enough of a punition and even with Bolt it's very risky for the whole team even if running away directly.

    I more feel it looks like a complain like "if my opponent hadn't Bolt, I would have killed him".
    Remember it's not necessarily bad positionning if you actually know you can try something because you still have Bolt in case of emergency. You may think it's bad positionning when actually the opponent is scouting your team reaction to know what he can try after/later. If the opponent is that bad, you should be climbing and be separated from those players pretty quickly.

    I'm not saying it makes it all, but Bolt can be countered by ranged classes easily thx to their 5sec. Heavy effect, for exemple(only for physical ones of course). If you feel like someone is bad positionned and should die from it, use that Heavy 50%, and the 5sec CC should do the thing. You also have that AoE free Sprint in the form of Peloton. Take the one you think is the most fitting to victory (I think Recuperate is like mandatory, but that's just me).

    Just to quickly clarify for those against said proposal, players also ran Bolt as an additional in soloQ in 4.x which was... not that good but you do not NEED it. You should be using your gap closers and positioning correctly if you want to make a greedy call on a target. Just because a skill or mechanic was added in does not mean it is good for every player to have on a 30s CD. Every player i've talked to who's participate in high level competitive PvP agrees to an extent. If it came back as a additional I think it would be fine, but right now you don't get punished for anything, and you can just walk up to ranged and healer too easily.

    could understand that bolt be in the game if the other maps were still in rotation but on crystal tower its just not needed and as it has been said a kinda free out of jail card for bad positioning

    I think removing Medkits and Bolt from The Feast would actually be a nice overall tuning mechanism to allow them to adjust the game to play better between the modes. I'd love to see them taken out and then start to re-examine damage instead of just handing out more HP like they did to healers. I like FL more post 5.1, but like The Feast more before 5.1. The additions of (universal) Bolt and pots/medkits to PvP feels heavy-handed in scope of the fact it always seemed like it would be weird in The Feast but make perfect sense for FL, giving me the impression they wanted to make the change for one and figure it would be OK in the other. It is evident we need some logical, easy-to-understand tuning to make them work well. The 30% damage reduction melee get for example is perfect for FL. I think players are willing to accept the two PvP modes have some divide in the rules, and I encourage taking Medkit/Bolt out of The Feast.

    Does it happen often in top high ranked Feast to have bad positionning? (it's a real question as I'm not there).
    Beside what I've said already, I actually also think 30sec is too short, having the 60sec version would have been more like something you have to use more wisely (even more like 90sec, why not).
    A match is 6min, having it at 90sec would make it be usable like 3 times maximum to try things. I feel it would be too bad to completely remove it. It adds dynamic in what you can dare to do, Bolt is fun. I'm not fan of something where nothing changes because everything is too slow to do and predictable like a lesson you would just learn by heart, and you could put a player or another, they just would be almost the exact same. And I don't want to have less fun because some people use it only to save themselves from a bad positionning. Once again, it's not really bad positionning if you know you actually have Bolt to change it. It's bad positionning in a gameplay without Bolt. I don't know if you get what I mean by that.
