Note: Taking advice from a players alt, is like taking advice from a voice in a dark room. Criticism is a two way street remember that!!
I think we will see one in 5.5 as a tease if they (hopefully) decide to release the missing genders on 6.0. It would make a lot of sense to release her somewhere every youtuber is probs gonna be at

Didn't Bozja get disintegrated according to the Eorzea Encyclopedia?
Hopefully they do get added. Though sadly I'm not confident they'll be able to handle it with their current staff and budget.

That all hrothgars are gay males. Then can be pregnated as well. The endas the title suggests i'm wondering since the bozja citadel will be the setting of the next artifact weapon questline. and as they mentioned in the liveletter, the bozja citadel is the homeland of the hrothgar. and as other hrothgar npcs have stated, the females stayed behind (especially the queen) while the males ventured out for whatever reason...so i wonder what kind of excuse they'll come up with to not show any.

They had the resources for two genders and they chose female Viera and male hrothgar. Sorry but the others aren't here and probably never will be. They haven't even finished the ones they released yet.

Yeah, it exploded pretty violently, with Cid's dad inside (and helming the project that caused the explosion).
Any females living on-site were killed along with everyone else. Females farther away who survived were likely moved to a more safe location.
I wouldn't expect females to be brought BACK to Bozja until it's completely restored, and ready to be inhabited again. So, SE has plenty of lore-friendly reasons to keep the area female-free for as long as they see fit.

It was, by Midas nan Garlond's attempts to control Dalamud went awry. The GNB quests however revealed that Bozja was where most of the hrothgar were living and thus a significant portion of their society was wiped out in the disaster (it's why Radovan is the last of his clan and one of the few remaining living GNBs), and because of their connection to the place, he was hoping to return and try and rebuild it. It remains to be seen whether that will be accomplished though (female hrothgar do exist though lore wise, they're not like FFXI's galka who were literally male only - the GNB Job's origins derived from the royal guard of the hrothgar queen Gunnhildr).
As for the 'missing' genders for hrothgar and viera, it will be just like how it was in the changeover from 1.0 to ARR as character models for male miqo'te, female roegadyn and female highlander hyur did not exist in FFXIV until ARR and their sudden appearence was simply handwaved (the first female roe that appeared in the game was Merlwyb late in 1.0's storyline, female highlanders used midlander models, such as Minfilia's 1.0 form, and male miqo'te.... did not exist at all and were given an excuse plot of being 'independently minded' and thus 'tended to keep to themselves' - I still remember the stir back during the very early ARR Beta test when a nameless male miqo'te npc was discovered as a bar patron in Buscaron's Druthers, it was literally our first shot of a male miqo'te, and as most Beta testers at that point were Legacy members/ex 1.0 players, you can understand the excitement). Similar handwaving was given when au ra was added and there was suddennly a huge amount of au ra adventurers running around Eorzea, it was given little to no explanation.
So this handwaving will continue with hrothgar and viera, as it's easier from SE's perspective to just ignore any such lore contradictions that way.
Yoshi P himself has spoke on the matter already, no female hrothgar or male Viera until a later date.
It may not be the high light of some people's day, but just wait? They put it in eventually, when they have time and a more open schedule to sit down and build new rigs textures and models and all the animations needed.
if they add a female hrotgar NPC before 6.0 and they are not playable by 6.0 the forums explodeThey could very well have a couple of models duplicated as needed. There's a big difference between making an NPC and a playable character that can wear all the in-game gear and execute all the skill animations. There are plenty of original NPCs we can't play. They don't take that much time to make (relative to a playable race)
