what excuse will they use for there being no female hrothgar in the bozja citadel?

as the title suggests i'm wondering since the bozja citadel will be the setting of the next artifact weapon questline. and as they mentioned in the liveletter, the bozja citadel is the homeland of the hrothgar. and as other hrothgar npcs have stated, the females stayed behind (especially the queen) while the males ventured out for whatever reason...so i wonder what kind of excuse they'll come up with to not show any.

Its going to be interesting since Bozja citadel is also the place that got nuked when the Garleans were testing the lunar transmitter (see 1.0, binding coil and omega series when cid and nero are discussing cid's father)
In the gunbreaker questline it is stated that its only just starting to rebuild.

That said, its been confirmed its about bozja, not it is in bozja if i remember right?

So it could well be the reason we dont see any is we dont go there.

Probably say they're too busy and important to speak with outsiders, so they use Helions as a liaison between them and our character. Not many of them to begin with and I'm sure there's even less. Might even say they're pregnant. The worse they could do is have the female Hrothgar talk behind a barrier or whatever like what they did to the Ondo female ready to give birth, although I guess that's better than a male Viera firing an arrow from the tree.

They could very well have a couple of models duplicated as needed. There's a big difference between making an NPC and a playable character that can wear all the in-game gear and execute all the skill animations. There are plenty of original NPCs we can't play. They don't take that much time to make (relative to a playable race)

yes but that would just serve to galvanize people further regarding the genderlock. "if they have them here why aren't they playable? rabble rabble rabble"

if they add a female hrotgar NPC before 6.0 and they are not playable by 6.0 the forums explode

It'll be the same lore reason for why they're not playable. Hrothgar have a highly skewed male-over-female birth rate, so there are fewer of them around.

Combined with Bozja being, y'know, in ruins due to the destruction of the Lunar Transmitter turning most of it into a crater.

People may not like the reason given but if you look at mother nature. She does the skewed thing in creatures like Bee's, the majority of bee's born in a Bee colony are female very few males are born. Living rocks are born Male and grow female aparts upon reaching maturity. Last one is kind of weird but just shows nature is not against having a species produce more of one sex then the other. I find it adds uniqueness too the game but thats me..

Oh they'll show a few. If not now, then near the end of the expansion. They're rebuilding their capital, and the Hrothgar (Hellions to be exact) need a queen to guide them.
