Sounds to me like they have new rewards for the wolf collars planned but they weren't done yet, hence not giving out the currency to buy the rewards that aren't ready yet.

I guess they really can't spare any time to get anything done fully.

Hopefully Shadowbringers is all just a case of Yoshida playing 4D Chess with the SE moneybags. They really are displaying just how understaffed they apparently are this expansion... Probably a fools dream to ever imagine SE giving this game the funding it deserves though...

Seriously though, can someone from SE please explain... How do you fail to implement something that's already implemented? Wolf Collars are just a currency... They're in place already, the whole system for rewarding them has been set up for years... Adding new things to buy with it? Great, why do we need them removed because of a delay there though? They're a currency, just add the new reward to buy with them later... Adding something to replace it? Not so great for reasons I wont bother touching on yet, but again... Why remove the old system now then... Old Wolf Collars for this season is better than nothing at all because the New Wolf Collars aren't ready, surely? Why have nothing when you already had something perfectly fine set up... I don't even need to touch on how hilarious it is that you ignore Feast for 6 months and somehow failed to prepare the reward (were I one to care, I'd be getting real Eureka delay vibes here... the wait will surely be worth it this time, right ), this whole thing is just bizarre all on its own... Something which has been in place for over two years suddenly isn't ready for release? Did a dev accidentally delete some spaghetti or something?
