Also it's funny you should mention playerbase size, there's a reason we want the EU DCs merged back together, which you opposed despite not even playing on EU. It literally cut our already tiny PvP community in half, and unlike NA players we don't have 100 alts between us.

Huh? You might want to reread my comments about EU datacenter. I didn't oppose EU being merged. I literally criticized people who were opposed and mentioned that they mostly had bad reasons to be against merging together. I said "More people = faster queues". Did you confuse me with someone else in that thread? I quoted my only comment below and it is the OPPOSITE of opposed:

It's the same thing for the U.S. data centers. People keep parroting the "Aether=Raid, Primal=Casual, Crystal=Gross ERP" idea. In reality, all these people are the same. In fact, I just recently moved from Gilgamesh (the so-called raid central of Aether) over to Excalibur (Primal), and Primal's PF is twice the size of Aether's every night (including Static parties) and the zones are far more lively.

It's so stupid, these reputations are almost never founded in truth. People are so eager to form teams and begin their "us versus them" rhetoric. Fact: More people = Larger pool to play with.

P.S. I have seen the report showing Aether has more clears of hard content than Primal but to be honest, it's not THAT much more.

Dunno bro seems to me that you're against, as those are all negative perceptions of people's opinion that a DC that has been whole since the inception of ARR is suddenly cut in half, perceptions that come from someone that doesn't even play on our region and would never understand exactly how it literally tore statics apart. You write uneducated nonsense, I am confusing you with no-one. Even your view on this post is without any experience of Feast bb.

That's a completely subjective opinion. Not everybody bases their preferences around whether an item glows or not - and there's probably a lot of people who find the designs to be pretty cool. They're just a pain to acquire and thus rarely seen.

Ok, but they're literally the same skin as the Deepshadow Weapons you realise this right? So if you really want a hellhound weapon because let's face it most people here are not getting enough collars for a weapon in one season; you're actually better off just getting the Deepshadow one.

I'm not sure that I'd consider PvP - at least ranked PvP - to be 'easy' in this game. If nothing else, it's a massive time sink - especially for those of us who can't play during prime time.

Ok well seeing as you've never finished above Bronze, allow me - it is easy. But it takes time. Something that is tedious does not equal difficult. Mechanically feast solo queue is very easy, it is LP that is considered "hard" (when really as long as you have some vocal chords and common sense it's not very much difficult). You just have to queue a lot of games and no matter how bad you are you will get the reward. I can't name and shame but if I could, I'd point out exactly how many players are in the top 100 on the EU DCs because well... someone had to be in that spot and someone's gotta win the match and when you get way more points for winning than you lose for losing up until Platinum; essentially you get Plat tier for free, which is very much on the cusp of top 100 in many seasons. Once you're in Plat, you get Plat/Dia games and if you're awful people will carry you because they have no choice. Diamond is the only tier you actually need to win at like 60%+ to not get demoted.

Sorry, you ARE reading this wrong. I don't want to be rude but I very clearly say that people against re-merging are only against it for biased reasons. In OTHER words, most people who don't want servers to merge together have no good reason to be against it. Brah, this doesn't have to be a fight. I'm telling you that I agree with you. No need to be nasty and call others "uneducated" in a conversation about a video game.

Regardless, my opinion on a datacenter is 100% irrelevant to the conversation. You seem pretty intent on devaluing my opinion on both topics for some reason. Did I wrong you in a past life? Are you saying a person can't have an opinion on EU datacenter unless they play in EU datacenter? AM I not allowed to have an opinion on Feast unless I have a vast years-worth record in Feast? Do you also think people can't have an opinion on a Prime Minister unless they have been a Prime Minister themselves? That is basically the argument you are making, and it is a very weak argument. Can a TV commentator for pro-football not qualify to be a commentator if they've never been a pro-football player themselves? You look foolish with these types of comments.

This right here is a snobby, gatekeeping comment. You've basically committed a mix of "No True Scotsman" and "Appeal to Authority" fallacies in your entire conversation, implying that nobody can have an opinion on something unless you see them as an expert on that subject. Umm, but they actually aren't? They might be similar color schemes but there are noticeable to significant differences between the weapons for the people that care to look. A few of them are even entirely different types of weapons, like PLD's hellhound weapon is a pick or something as opposed to deepshadow's sword and BLM's deepshadow one is a scythe as opposed to hellhound's staff.
