FFXIV is the 2nd biggest MMO with alot of people coming from WoW to play it. Must mean it has some things that people find subjectively better then WoW or -insert game here-

Ultimately there's a variety of content to partake in and its up to you to do so. With MMOs what you like is subjective, what you enjoy, what is entertaining for you. If you don't want to branch out or attempt new things then take a break.

As far as my opinion goes, I think one less dungeon isnt a big deal, I prefer quality over quantity, that and I actually raid and craft, on top of hunting and the occasional social event, pvp, and there will be the relic grind I'll do for each of the jobs I play. That being said this isnt my first MMO and I'm used to making my own fun, I don't find it hard to gather up people or throw up a PF and figure out what I'll do in my free time though I know some do.

FF is evolving to be more then story, raids, dungeons, and PvP, from RP, to Social events, and alternatives to *endgame* I feel this game encourages you to try and partake in everything.
