    Hi, I don't do Raids or Trials. Expert Roulette is still irreverent to me. Not a lot else to do at endgame? Try Hunts, Treasure Maps, PvP, Deep Dungeons, Relics (when they're finally added), Achievement hunting and so on.

    Even if you take a very narrow view to what endgame is, there are plenty of other ways to farm 450 tomestones a week. Endgame is really what you want it to be though, there is plenty to do in this game besides chasing meaningless item levels.

    I would be fine if we get one less (but please let that be the max. amount of dropped dungeon) if the content we get in return is also something for the majority of the playerbase.

    Ultimate is only for the smaller parts of hardcore players and Eureka was in the end also just niche content for those that like such a long grind. Nothing for a casual player who lost another dungeon for that.

    So I am fine if its for more casual good content but I am not fine if we lost something that is for everyone, to get content that is for a niche.

    only getting one dungeon begs the question what they are gonna do with expert, like normally (if this changed just correct me, had a break during the last 3 stormblood patches) we got an itemlevel raise paired with 2 dungeons and this 2 dungeons became the new expert ->third dungeon added later on for 3 dungeon expert roulette. with only getting one dungeon for the main patch obviously they can't do a 1 dungeon expert "roulette" so they just gonna throw out one dungeon at random keeping it at 3 ? or only letting us keep the last 2 added even though we outgear chateau cosmea every bit as much as the other ones ?

    Personally i just hope they add a max itemlevel of 470 on the ones currently in expert and only add to it, Simply turn it into "duty roulette, level 80/max level" so the expert roulette over the span of an addon actually grows to something biger than 3 (or currently 4) dungeons, only doing the current dungeons is fine for a week or so, but after that no matter how awesome they may design a dungeon it simply gets stale running the same 2 or so dungeons over and over and over and.......

    Me neither. They should grow some balls and put things like Myth+ dungeons instead of 4 furnitures and two pieces of glam to be the cool teen in Limsa.

    I'd rather we get our normal number of dungeons as opposed to less cause I enjoy and do dungeon content alot.

    I'm gonna be upset if we lost a dungeon for the ishgard stuff or some rp housing thing.

    Hopefully this expansion doesn't feel like SB cause in SB it felt like we got slot less then arr or hw with content, but so far SHB has given lots of content but hopefully it don't decrease and feel less like SB.

    Whether you're happy with the change or not, it's worth keeping in mind that we don't really know what this means for a shifting of resources and labour. It's pretty unlikely that the devs who do dungeon and encounter design are the same ones who housing or glamour or fishing, for instance. If they're shifting devs off of dungeon creation it's more likely that those same devs would now be working on something similar.

    If we get more content because of this, I'm more than ok with only 1 dungeon. Anyway, I will still get The Twinning for my daily EX roulette.
    I'm really excited for 5.2 ! New dungeon, new MSQ, new relic, 2 trials with a ?new mode? New raid tier, new beast tribe, a lot of DoL/DoH content.
    And umbrellas.
    I can't wait.

    I think this week was the first time I capped my tomestones through dungeons since late in Stormblood. I spend more time in leveling dungeons than I do in expert ones since most of the time I'm playing on an 80 job I'm doing something else like hunts or treasure maps or raids or extremes or New Game+. There are a lot more things to do a combat class now then then back in ARR when we got three dungeons a patch. I don't want them to completely stop adding dungeons in the patches since I do enjoy them but one a patch seems fine to me if we are going to be getting other things in exchange.

    I will gladly trade 1 normal dungeon each patch for focus on more Treasure Hunt content. For the successor to Eureka, how about every zone having a public raid/dungeon instead only the last one like with Hydatos.

    Or give us a third Rival Wings map, make adjustments to Astragalos and put all three maps in a rotation queue similar to Frontline, with a daily bonus.
