People rarely leave in LOTA and I run it a lot. Sure there is an occasional drop but it's certainly not epidemic. I do it to help cap tomes (50 tomes) for my many alts and to get experience for those leveling a job. On the other hand people are leaving now in my experience in significant numbers with Castrum which isn't cool when you queue for it as a DPS for over 30 minutes to have the tank and healers dump the duty. I think the xp difference between Praetorium and Castrum is too large encouraging this behavior.

For those who think that if they begin to force people into the upper level raids for the paltry experience awarded for Alliance you'll find lots not bothering to queue or leaving upon entry as well. Good luck with queue times. This issue can be addressed in my opinion by making the raid/time invested more relevant for 50, 60 and 70 level raids with respect to experience awarded for them. This might encourage drops on the other hand if the experience differences are too great when people do not get the higher level raids.

I think having a 50/60 and 70/80 Alliance (as we get more raids to flush out the 80 list) might make it easier for queuing and awarding the xp appropriately.

I can run a trust and get the same xp I would get for Alliance and do that in the time it takes for my queue to pop for Alliance these days especially in off peak hours.

No one is forced to do anything as they can choose not to queue. And I'd rather have longer queue because no one is queueing than not being able to queue because someone messes with the queue intentionally. (Also, that's why I say to punish people who leave as well.)

Yes exactly and many won't. That's pretty obvious to me at least. I queue all the time for what I think is worth the time and investment. People aren't forced to leave either but they do so go ahead and try and use your strong arm approach to a roulette that has dubious rewards and we'll see how that works out. People messing with the ilv are a symptom of a problem that needs to be fixed by making the longer duties worth the effort by trying to make people queue because they feel it it worth it.
