I'm interested in seeing how they play out before making judgement. And while I can only speculate, something fast but gimmicky might be a neat edition. Coils had a lot of interesting ideas, but players will take the path of least resistance. But if you split those gimmicks into a dungeon format with one path, then it still works. Maybe. In my head it does.
