




This isn't true because the long skirts follow the same physics as the robes and don't get cut off. It's literally just an on/off switch they put on items to avoid clipping when they extend past a certain point away from the character.My take on this is that in the case of the Lightning set, they want you to wear the full set. This doesn't explain why any top that extends below the waist line causes the same issue though..
My old 3D modeling mind tells me it's an issue with bones/slots being used by the top which the bottom can't share since that bone/slot is already occupied.
