For the life of me, I can't understand why you all care so much about this. It just seems so trivial of a thing to me, but I guess I'm the anomaly on this so I hope you guys eventually get your butt sliders.
To quote myself ...
"Here's all you need to focus on, a highly sought after and highly anticipated glam gear from a recent bit of content that worked perfectly fine before is now suddenly altered in an unappealing way for most ALL tops for absolutely no reason in a patch designed to correct clipping for a few rare instances. There are other graphical errors that came with the fix to the transparent parts and over all many things seem to not be working as intended."
Not sure what else you want ... I mean, it's not trivial if you care about glam and made this gear a staple in your glams since it came out. But thanks for the bit of good will(?)
Sometimes, I come to threads and see people self congratulating themselves by using some logical fallacy.
That said I am a bit annoyed about this, because it is causing odd body issues on characters in general. It was already an issue due to the way they set up the anatomy since the 2.0 release of the game. If the back/lats were in propelled proportion to your hips and pelvis there would be less arguments of "pancake booty" but because it is jarring often you'll get arguments wanting a butt slider. The fix looks worse at the moment because its also altering the thighs looking a bit warped.
If you don't care then no worries. I just don't understand the amount of body shaming going on in some of this thread. Reminds me of growing up as a child of mixed race where it was argued about certain anatomical features. "Should have been Whiter because your butt is big" and told to cover up more because I had a butt that was too "Black"
Now I see people looking to make horrible comments towards others for a butt that isn't even that big compared to some people in real life often ridiculed and body shamed, or memed about.
Don't tell us its a fuss about fictional stuff hiding behind your own passive aggressive actions and issues its pot calling the kettle black.
I just hope it goes out to the devs to just fix this, and I know they work hard and are prone to errors as well. I don't think staff really work to break things to upset their consumers and fans.

I'm not sure what this has to do with the #flattening.
Not broken fixed.
I posted the word "lazy" because I knew exactly what kind of response I would get, and low and behold I got it. Smh. Ironically, I posted it in the same post.
I don't know what it is with people announcing "black listing", get over it. Half the time they say people are blacklisted and they aren't even blacklisted.

It's the fact this is a bug. The gear before this "fix" never did this and now all the gear set legs (not the 2B ones though) do this if you put on the 2B boots or any thigh boots.
Basically they made clipping worse in an effort to fix clipping.
I feel like we should focus on other problems in the game than the size of a butt. ouo;;;;
No. This is a thread about the #flattening which is in effect on 2b bottoms. This person has been trying to slip in the #flattening to a completely separate piece of gear. The raid bottoms, that haven't been effected by the fix (#flattening) yet. This "bug" is caused by 2b boots and raid bottoms. Unless the boots were flattened, this post should have been posted here: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...t-normal-right

In case you didn't read the thread, to which I doubt, that's the point. They "fixed" a highly specific bug that happened with said size, downsized, and messed up more gear in the process.
