How would you describe your server?

I love my server, it has a bad rep, but come across a lot of fun, friendly and pretty cool people, plus am an RPer, so I get a lot of good RP out of it. I feel much of our bad rep stems from the Quicksands and the people associated with it, I don’t know if the rep still has validity as that’s a part of the community I’m not in proximity of.

People standing in one spot afk for 6 straight days without ever logging out and i'm frightened

They get booted with the maintenance of course, but then they log back in and get right back to standing in once spot for the next week.

Is this a thing on other servers? Because it's terrifying. There's also this guy who makes a point to afk in locations where he will specifically be in everybody's view but where nobody will stand by him so he can look like an edgy lone wolf.

We have a Roe in a moogle hat in Limsa doing the Vanu dance and opposite him we have a clone doing the exact same thing, they’re always there without fail. Then I once saw him running around and that broke my immersion.

Because people can't see past the Quicksands and the erp memes and if they looked elsewhere in the server, they would be surprised. Ironically the server is very friendly and approachable as opposed to the social gremlins that need to talk down about it. And for some reason, being a roleplayer automatically means you're bad at doing content.

Doesn't help that our raid scene left in a panic due to the split between Aether and Crystal and that we've never quite recovered from that loss. A quick look over at LuckyBancho to see how many people on Crystal have the E4S mount compared to other Data Centers is sadly not helping the bias. We're 691 confirmed Skyslippers on the server compared to Gilgamesh which has 2,424.

Agreed. People wanted to follow the big name streamers too, and all they do is help perpetuate the stereotype as well.

Because being a brand new data center with all the raiders moving away clearly has nothing to do with the low clear rate numbers Crystal has. /s
