I like Adamantoise, it’s not much different than the other servers I’ve been on but being on it so long I’ve started to recognize people around the Aetheryte/MB and its nice to see familiar faces, even if they’re strangers.
But I plan on transferring soon so I can re join the Twin Adder and set my home point back to Gridania from Ul’dah, as I’d rather not hang out there due to a certain unsavoury group that I have history with who calls the place home. I suppose they make Gridania really active though :/

I'm tempted to say 'fresh', since it's quite new and everything. I don't know, I like it on Twintania, it seems calm compare to other servers where I went. That being said, I'm not one to hang out on big hanging spots like Limsa![]()
I hate my server, everything is overpriced.

Ultros reminds me of one of those cities which might have a large size in landmass, yet not a lot of population density. When a city has control over key roads and resources so there is wealth, but it kind of feels like a big village. Leviathan may be the most powerful world on Primal in terms of industry and density of max level players, though Ultros (and Behemoth) are not far off, and it shows. In about my year of playing I've spoken to more strangers on Ultros than a lot of the worlds I've been to like Zalera or Lamia. It gives it a sense of being an easy world to get into socially or financially. Heck, when I got into this game I was a multi-millionaire before I finished ARR just because it was very easy to make money as a low level crafter.
In short, Uncle Ulty's tentacles extend to all.
It feels like my server economy is in endless recession. No one buys stuff, no one craft stuff, nothing.

- What server (and data center) do you mostly play on?
Twintania (Light)
- Would you say your server has more of a hardcore, casual, or RP emphasis? Or a combination of both? Or something else? Or is that not possible to tell?
Casual. Very few good active statics. Only two high rated PvPers (one of which is an alt). Not a massive amount of geared players.
- Do some servers (or data centers) have a reputation for leaning toward one of those 3 categories?
Yes. Odin and Phoenix are literally polar opposites of Twintania. The only difference is, Twintania is unjustifiably far more abusive (a genuine wolf pit). You will get flamed in many of the FCs here and be expected to grow a thick skin. How this came to pass idk. I think it's more a result of there being a lot of ex-hardcore players on the server who took the free transfer from Chaos mixed in with a very large amount of new players as obviously, new server. The two aren't mixing very well.
- Did you join a server because you thought it leaned toward one of those 3? If yes, was it what you expected?
Nah, I just wanted to move to Light for Free and finally buy a house in this game. Twintania served that purpose.

We are all terrible. united.

It was the most "active" EU Legacy server.

Started playing FFXIV in Japan on a JP server (Masamune). Moved my character to Europe when I myself physically moved to Europe. Been crying ever since.
