What's the point of ranks?

Harlequin's is useless to your CON in what way? Dodore Doublet is useless to your ARM in what way? I know there are those kinds of people who cannot be impressed easily, but you take the cake. Maybe you're exaggerating your taste a little and just using poor choice of words, but really what you're saying is you are hard to please and that's fine.

There is progression and a few events regarding NMs. Honestly, the only thing I find fun to do lately is low manning or soloing Roaming/Faction NM. Other than that, all there is to do is progress ranks and wait for content.

Harlequin is useless because it wont increase my ability on my mage, most stats are broken and I've already hit MND cap so my heal wont increase, and i dont even have that good gear lol.

Also Dodore is useless because I can wear any other gear, make all the armor the game has and even that armor is rubbish and saturated so much that no one would buy it anyway. So my arm is just a "repair" class now, and i dont need a dodore doublet to repair. Thus it is useless.

If you needed dodore doublet to make some pimp armor that was extremely difficult and required that doublet sure, but there is nothing, i can do it all naked if i wanted lol.

Not about pleasing its just those armors are useless, they provide no game changing or big improvement over what I currently have lol. in XI you'd get NM gear for a specific reason, KA for the 6% haste, or go get AF2 for TH+4 and Fastcast/Refresh stuff.

in XIV your nm gear gets you a little bit more stats here n there, which ultimately make no difference at all.
