Can I have a setting to disable confirmations for dungeon doors?
"Do you want to continue with the dungeon? I mean I know you clicked the door, but really?"

You mean like, presenting that it's a problem that you can't easily locate who is talking to you by looking around and then providing a solution to it.Those type of threads typically do have a suggestion, while simultaneously bashing something, which brings a huge amount of negativity not only in the thread before it can take off, but also the community.
In this case, along with her suggestion, the OP clearly states that she understands why the confirmation is there, mentions why it is an issue, and also provides a solution. THOSE are the kind of suggestion threads the devs are looking for, and they are few and far between on the English forums.
There was nothing negative about this suggestion that could be an optional feature but people find excuse after excuse to be against it.I think this game lacks of speech bubbles. They would improve the conversations going on in the cities. When I see someone writing in chat, I have no clue where that guy/girl is standing.
Further speech bubbles would improve roleplaying and hanging around and socializing in the big cities.
This feature is for example already in gw2 and it makes socializing at random places really fun.
I hope you can implement speech bubbles in this game as well someday, it would be a beneficial addition to ff14.

At least it's just a checkbox. In WoW you have to actually type the word "delete" to delete a blue or purple item.
I'd rather have an auto pass/discard on loot feature, but that's a nice start. As the title says, for unique/untradeable items. Toggle option of course.
Reason: Although a purely selfish one, it also stems from when I'm cleaning inventories. The cleaning does not happen often but when it does, I tend to throw out of lot of things ( I make sure to put all the stuff I'm going to discard in a separate window) and then, I find myself having to throw them one by one, clicking the confirm button.
I understand why the prompt is there and I do like it for that 1-5 things I might discard in the hour or day but it actually becomes a true index finger exercise when I do it in bulk. I would actually request the ability to select multiple things at once, like in a similar fashion to re-using the trade window slots also for discards but I'd rather have the actual option of disabling confirmation prompt.
Agreed. It's rather poor design, really - clearly intended for a different era in which unique / untradeable items weren't nearly as common as they are now.
Still, I'd rather see this as part of a broader UI redesign. Clean up the layouts a bit if possible, and make response times snappier. Flatten the appearance to align it with the new launcher and generally modernize the experience. Implement that multi-select feature you mentioned, which would be a huge benefit for selling items to NPCs or desynthing en masse. Fix those weird scenarios like Triple Triad in which menus cannot be opened (all menus should be accessible at all times unless there's some database-related reason why they can't be, i.e. the Chocobo Saddlebag). Give us the ability to remove all confirmation prompts, not just when discarding unique / untradeable items (should be able to desynth or convert items without a prompt; shouldn't see a second prompt when declining the option to turn in additional Levequest items on the repeat quests; etc.). I'm sure there are any other number of things that can and should be modernized.
SE has spent a couple of expansions now working on the job abilities, so I think a similar effort oriented around the UI shouldn't be out of the question. So long as they continue to empower the player with their efforts - which they've really done a stellar job of so far, in all fairness - I see only upside to such an effort.
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
Worst confirmation is beats tribes when capped lol
The amount of times I go throug the text only to hit “you will not receive any tomestones of x as you are capped. Proceed? No”
Gods damn it! Now I need to go though it all again and watch their animations and will probably hit no again a second time.
So yea, less confirmations the better. Same with desynth and discard.
Along with the previously-mentioned dungeon progression prompts, something I would really like to see gone (or at very least set to yes by default) is Gold Saucer minigames. It's a one MGP entry fee; do I really need to confirm it every time?
And then you accidentally throw out something that you need and rage.
