    Why is there a massive mentality and mechanical gap between the regions when it comes to skill in this PvP specifically? SE let's do something about it!

    Not much they can do when the difference originate primarily from cultural differences. The West in general (and the USA specifically) tends to be more centered on the individual while the East (and Japan specifically) tends to be more centered on the community.
