I just have to come here and say as a warning for those who may be looking for more with these as I was when I was here. Be careful of catfishes. It happens in game without even happening in this thread, in fact I'm often quite surprised when I hear how un cautious some people tend to be.

That being the case sorry to hear that it happens, I greatly dislike when anyone gets catfished... good people often get grouped with those bad ones and I'd prefer that
didn't happen.

You can't expect people to want to keep
chatting when you don't seem particularly interested in anything they have to say.
It's very one-sided and kinda rude. Just asking about their day, what they're up to, going to do, their likes and
dislikes is something you can just keep going upon.

I mean, it sure is one way of holding a conversation I suppose. But personally I wouldn't enjoy someone just asking one question after another.
To me, a good conversation is a balanced one. You ask a question, the person answers, you have something to add to it, they have something to add to it and before you know it you're already talking for 30 minutes.
When you just jump from question to question, it just feels like either a job interview or an interrogation.. neither of which are particularly fun. xD

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. Then the convo can branch out.
Here's an example of some convo's I had.

Me: -Say something about a game or w/e-
Person: Lol.
^ I just had this one. The person literally said "Lol" THREE times in a row and before that he's like "Nice"
Really guy...? And they done this a lot too so I just was like ok lol.

Me: -Trying to the person to talk more- So, what's your fave FF?
Person: Well I like this one the most. -Doesn't expand on it or asks me the same thing-

I'm not tryna be mean but I'll most likely you ignore you.
I take interests in others interest but when they just talk about them
it makes me think they don't care to know me so meh.

The questionnaire though...I agree. My boyfriend does this quite a bit
because he doesn't really have much to say about his day and I legit ask him
to tell me ANYTHING about his day (which he has gotten better on) because it'll be
me talking for 15 years and my throat be parched and hurting. xD
I'm all like "Okay I love him so I'ma deal with this a little bit GODDOG MAN! TALK TO ME!" xD
