Willing to transfer: Maybe my Aether character, but the other two, probably not.

Personal Interests: Love to golf and play soccer. Most types of music interest me. Watching anime or good shows on Netflix etc. I love to travel and experience new cultures.

Play schedule: I tend to play everyday in the evenings PST. My work schedule is a bit weird, but when I'm not in game, I am available on Discord. Can usually adjust my schedule based on my partner

What kind of gamer are you: Pretty casual right now. Would eventually like to join a static and raid again. Raided heavily back in ARR, but haven't since then.

Character Gender: Male in game and out.

Do you care if the player in real life is not the same gender as their character: I am only interested in females for a partner, but always happy to meet new people and make friends to play with!

Character Race: Au'ra Xaela

Preferred Race: Miqo for sure, but also like Viera, Hyur, and Au'ra.

Main class: DRK is my main on all my characters. My main sub would be DNC, SAM, or RDM.

Dislikes: People who can't hold a conversation. No sense of humor. Ignorant people. Mashed potatoes (yes I know...). Bad attitudes in general. I'm sure there are a few more, but we can cover those later.

Goals for the game: I'm just looking to have an overall pleasant experience whenever I log in the game. Whether it be running roulettes, doing raids, leveling, or whatever, I just want to enjoy myself with someone who is like-minded.

Goals for the marriage union: Find my other half. I would like to find someone that I get alone with completely in game and out. No need to rush into the EB because I feel there is a lot that we need to know about one another before moving to the next step.

Etc: We all pay the same amount of money to play this game. I'm not looking to tell someone how to play the game. That being said, I know content can become stagnant from time to time and it's hard to be motivated to play the game so I'd like to be able to either play other games as well or just keep in contact through Discord to spend time together.

It wasn't just you I was speaking to. I was speaking to others i know as well as anyone else who may read this post. Just hoping people who don't see these things so clearly realize what they are asking for, what they are missing out on, what they do to others. . Maybe they will see that only selecting a certain race makes hurt others or isolate them is not of their doing sometimes. Your quote just opened the door to say those things. Some people may see that now. Thanks for that.

Define "social". Some people are naturally socially awkward. I literally had someone out of the blue message me today. I said "Hi", and got no response after that. Not sure what that's all about, but ya gotta understand, sometimes the first conversation with someone is gonna start out really really slow. It doesn't mean there isn't the potential for deep and meaningful conversation, it just means "Hey, I just met you, so let me get a bit more comfortable."
I mean, you take that any way you want.

Actually holding a conversation. That's fine and well to be shy and stuff.
But if you continuously make one words such as "Lol. Yes. No. Okay." etc etc.
then you probably won't be very fruitful. You can't expect people to want to keep
chatting when you don't seem particularly interested in anything they have to say.
It's very one-sided and kinda rude. Just asking about their day, what they're up to, going to do, their likes and
dislikes is something you can just keep going upon.
I personally like random questions, simple as "What's your fave (insert)".
Those are always fun! Those are just some example though.

My best friend does the one-wordy thing sometimes and he's the only "boring" person
I can deal with with that crap. Of course, he chats more via actually speaking but come on man lol.

Not really? Some people do that. They just want the glamour and nothing therefore afters. Some people just want friends and some are looking for the possibility of more. It's just what the two mutually agree upon.

I love making friends of all genders (or lack of thereof) but i do feel the most comfortable around girls, as they tend to be much softer, and soft is my life.

Paladin, but i also play Gunbreaker to enjoy a bit of tanking variety!

I generally dislike all things dramatic and hurtful, lies, betrayals and ghosting.
Passive-aggressiveness is a quick one way ticket to my block list.

I am a delicate and gentle soul and i bruise easily, and life already drains me of what emotional energy i have to spare, so i have little precious to offer in that regard.

Goals for the game:
Keeping up with the story, dressing up in adorable costumes, collecting glamours and pictures, and attempting to keep up with the welfare gear and LFG dungeons&trials.

Goals for the marriage union:
I would only marry someone i grew close to, i can trust, and with whom i want to spend a lot of my free time sharing moments with.
It does not have to necessarily transcend the game, but i refuse to marry just for the sake of the items and a shallow friendship.

Not at all. Some people only want the items and that's perfectly fine! While many of the replies in this thread are looking for varying degrees of "friendship to actual relationship", I occasionally see others who simply want the items. Just as long as you make your intentions known about what you're after so you can find a like-minded individual, no harm done

About half the friends in my group married only for items, it's nothing weird or terrible.
