I get that this is a FF game, and people want FF jobs...But for once i just want people to think outside the box, i for one want something original in the game and not just a ripoff from a previous FF game just because "mah nostalgia"
Maybe a shapeshifter job? That'd be cool, maybe as a dps.
Obviously the game needs another healer, but im gonna go out on a limb and suggest...Oh i dunno, maybe a job that uses a flail? That might be interesting, maybe it could be an oGCD focused melee job, and the more GCDs you wait between each GCD, the more powerful the hit because it has time to gain momentumn, for example. That's just something that i came up with on the spot though
...I just want a shapeshifter job...
2.0 Veteran from 2013. Just looking to be helpful. DRK is Love, DRK is life.
(Ignore the levels on my character card, the tool i used to make it hasn't been updated for 4.0)
I want Geomancer
None, I'd rather see issues with some of the current jobs sorted out, especially Monk and Astrologian, I'd like to see the healer role reworked a bit as well because it is super dull and is just not attractive to play.

I have bad news for you, then. FF already has a shapeshifting job.I get that this is a FF game, and people want FF jobs...But for once i just want people to think outside the box, i for one want something original in the game and not just a ripoff from a previous FF game just because "mah nostalgia"

While I would also like to see them give all classes one final overhaul(god knows some jobs have gotten a lot of overhauls from 2.0 to 5.1) instead of new jobs, I doubt it will happen. A big factor in a new expansion is the new jobs.
Would be nice if they decided to more precisely define each job's theme and style so we don't go from 2.0 Bard into 3.0 Bow-mage into 4.0 Bard into 5.0 Song-Hunter and back into 5.1 Bard. And while this level of change hasn't happened to every job, I think a good definition of style and theme would really help in the long run.
I'd like this as well. PotD allows us to shape-shift, so the mechanic is there more or less. But how would it work? Will there be a melee, ranged, support form with each having different abilities and rotation? Or will there be a gauge that slowly charges and once filled will allow us to shape shift?
I reckon we haven't had a tank in a while.
Methinks ninja's looking pretty lonely, being the only one to have Scouting gear. Perhaps they're due for some company? Perhaps...Swashbuckler class?
Also, I would be down for an actual Chemist job. I'd imagine it'd either get stacks from using different abilties that would either feed into other abilities, or perhaps have a Mudra-like Concoct ability that would produce various buffs, heals, or damage attacks.
*spit take*
Chemist (healer)
Geomancer (DPS)
