Hmm, what classes I want?
I want a true Greenmage as magical Support DPS that works a Buffer/Debuffer with its damage source being a massive DoT overload that it ramps up over time n stacks their effects with the DoTs of others to lose not efficency should play multiple of them together to cancel not each other out in combat.
A Greenmage with a gameplay design twist that is similar to that of a Necromancer that handles Curses as negative conditions that don't just simply run out, but stay as long you can/want to keep them up, without falling victim from your own cursed Stigmatas for cursing your enemies.
A gameplay that revolves basically the hex and enchantment system from old GW1's Mesmers/Necromancers combined as a unique Greenmage, thatd what i'd like to have, becaus thats as much as possible we will perhaps ever get to see under FF14's lore which gets close to a playable necromance - something that is designed around curses, blood/pact rituals, hexes n enchants to buff n debuff targets - definetely not any kind of minion master type that summons undeads, that is not FF's class design style for "heroes" which have to representate warriors of light.
Aside of that concept of mine, Id like to see:
Dreamcatchers, a class thats basically a mixture between Psionics, Illusionists and Spellblades to get as a result something unique that feels like a battle mage n plays also kike a real one, because Redmage will sadly never fulfill truly good that ideal - never under that design, which feels more like a Fencer with some stolen black and white magic attached to it, being basically 3 things in 1 having no true own identity.
FF14 so far lacks completely the stereotype of the mind controler, whick tricks n fools enemies with illusions, conses them to let enemies fight against each other due to not knowing anymore who's their target and who isn't, or attacks them directly via telekinetic powers from pure mindpower, sending foes to sleep n torturing them with projected nighmares via telepathy, turning basically the powers of a pixie into a playagle class, guess ilk make for this a full concept next.
For Healer I'd like to see Alchemist as a first non magical healer that doesn't use the typical, attributes, but instead uses just only Constition for both, health and damage modifier stat, so that it can use the optimal setting of CON, SPD, CRT, DRH, not needing any spell speed, strengh or the mage damage its, because it is no magic job, however it would use mp for its varios tonics, elixiers, potions, salves, oils n powders to create them as part of the ressource management, even an Alchemist needs somewhere to have it's limits.
The current crafter term should get renamed to Scientist, the whole Achemist story was anywaya always about science, the science to bring dead people eventually back to life.
Playing that story I always felt myself asking - when comes Frankensteins Monster through the door n says, hello, i'm back XD? So Id like to see real combat alchemists in FF14 as healers.
Beast Tamers would be awesome as well, a class that fights together with tamed beasts n monsters with whips as medium ranged weapons
As Tank I'd like to see Chronomancers, they'd be the first caster tank and it would help giving Astrologists their identity back as what they truly are - visionaries, star seers, fortunetellers and not a kind of stupid wannabe time mage that SE originally tried to make them look like
N lastly as kind of DPS/Offtank Hybrid i'd lve to see the Crusader/Templar as a kind of mystic/rune knight gameplay to get an alternative flr Dragoon, which is more defense/support n counterattack orientad, than the Dragoon - punishing targets for daring to target attack them, able to withstand for long enough, to give healers time to revive, should the tank/both die in battle, so that the battle doesnt become chaotic directly, a Crusader would be like the last time puffer to buy healers time to get the MT back, due to the significant higher def than typical DPS classes like SAM, MNK or NIN which die with their def like flies to skills that hit usually tanks

About Crafters/Gathers, Id like to see something new there to:
Hunter > As Monster Loot Gatherer for stuff like Blood, Bones, Fangs, Furs, Skins ect.
Drifter > kind of treasure hunter style gatherer, thats focused on all kinds of valuables just with the goal to sell it for a good pice, so thats the stereotype of the money gatherer, the relic hunters, digging with shovel in search for Rubies xD Zelda Style ^^
Author > As Crafter for Books, Scrolls, Paper Typers, thats all no alchemist work, what a nonsense SE did there...
Craftsman > For just all kinds of Housing stuff instead of splitting this stuff up among 10 plus class just make 1 crafter that crafts all housing items n is focused on that only
