    Yes I'm upset
So how were you helping them? The completed crafts are nontradble.. so unless you were going out.. gathering materials and then giving them to the low level players for free.. you weren't helping low level players.. you were helping yourself to turn-ins while waiting for a fate for yourself..

Good. So what if the lower population servers lag behind. As long as they'll eventually get to where everyone else is, it's fine.

I was disappointed I didn't get to see stage two yesterday, which I'm guessing was in part because it was so artificially rushed by other servers.

Hopefully things will be better now that servers can progress without interference.

And as the ones with the data of who was world visiting, who was helping, who was just standing around and leeching the FATES, etc., SE gets to base this decision more on the legitimate concerns than the "waaah" level responses.

I mean, Yoshi-P said as much - they'd been monitoring the situation, have data on the number of crafters across servers, etc., and had a response ready to be implemented should they deem it necessary.

    They just deemed it necessary.

Good, this is how it should be for the fate.

However, to encourage the feel of helping other realms with their progress.. another suggestion; if it hasn't already been made, allow people in other realms Firmament up until the progress bars completion. Put in an automated system that gives a warning that wanderers will be kicked after so many minutes after the progress bars completion.

Encouragement should come from a small percentage boost in scripts for turnings in on other realms to fill said realms progress bar. This should in affect increase realm camaraderie as well be a mutual boon to servers with less crafters as well giving said crafters extra scripts for their support.

I know I'm only one person, but as someone on a med/low pop server I do not want this help at all.

If a content patch is approaching and the lower pop realms aren't where SE thinks they need to be on progress, then incentives like this may be helpful, but until then can't we just progress at a natural pace instead of being rushed through content? I was hoping to enjoy seeing it progress.

I don't get this "rush it" mentality, Ishgard won't dissapear next month, we have time. And tbh the stuff SE said about they looked at how many crafters and gatherers there are on the servers...that makes no sense at all since now literally everyone is crafting and gathering, even on low pop servers. So what's the matter if a low pop server don't get their goal done in one day?

It's not the end of the world and if people are so desperate to help those servers then transfer to them and help. The problem was that there were literally hundreds of players from other servers rushing around trying to get all fates in their datacenter, so i think sacrificing some players who really wanted to help compared to let thousands, who create even a discord to cheese everything out of this game, break the system.

And when players from their own server can't even join the place where they can do not only the fate but the whole content then this is a real problem when players can't do their content on their homeservers and players from other servers are even mocking them about it. If low pop servers can't progress SE can just lower the requirements for the goals there and the world is perfectly balanced again, as it should be.

Not at all. It's perfectly possible to find enjoyment in both the absolute chaos brought about by such situations whilst also engaging in good sportsmanship.

Don't make me sound like a selfish prick when I'm not. I spent all day in Framfrit, gathered the mats from there, and craft the mats as well as turned them in on the Framfrit server, not my own. What, does turns in not count to that server when you visited another server? If so I did not know and if I would have known about that I would have gathered the materials and supply them to the Framfrit players for free

I think the problem is we all suffer from XIV's amusement park ride style and especially FOMO. So these two go hand in hand and everyone tries to do everything they can to stay current and experience it before heading back to their normal things.

The world visiting fates were a part of that where people wouldn't even craft but just force themselves into the world and just afk till FATE time. Though to be fair the concept of sitting and watching Netflix while other people do the hardwork for you to earn your scrips does sound tantalizing and it's plain to see why it happened.

It reminds me of back when blue mage came out and people were doing the job switching to exploit the system and were in turn interrupting other's trying to level the job normally by killing all the mobs too quickly. People doing anything to rush to finish line to keep up with the content before the shelf life wore off, I mean it's apparent now especially looking at PF for BLU related things.

With all that being said I'm glad they did decide to do this. I do miss the idea of hanging out with people, crafting on another world with varied people and shooting the shit waiting for a FATE to pop. But I can live with it if it means everyone else can experience the content as it should have meant to be originally. Like you said they can always do adjustments for the lower pop servers after a time and with this content lasting us the entire expansion it's totally fine to just hang back and go with the flow.
