I have another thing of advice!
If you people want to not be ghosted or ignored, try and be a little more social.

I\\'m sorry but I can\\'t be asked to keep starting conversations with folks and they constantly one word. I dunno if I\\'m boring or something but if you one word or only talk about you a bit and not really geting to know your person then good luck. I admit to doing this below because people can\\'t be asked to hold conversations.
I know this could possibly be another reason of the ghost.

Define "social". Some people are naturally socially awkward. I literally had someone out of the blue message me today. I said "Hi", and got no response after that. Not sure what that's all about, but ya gotta understand, sometimes the first conversation with someone is gonna start out really really slow. It doesn't mean there isn't the potential for deep and meaningful conversation, it just means "Hey, I just met you, so let me get a bit more comfortable."

Actually holding a conversation. That's fine and well to be shy and stuff.
But if you continuously make one words such as "Lol. Yes. No. Okay." etc etc.
then you probably won't be very fruitful. You can't expect people to want to keep
chatting when you don't seem particularly interested in anything they have to say.
It's very one-sided and kinda rude. Just asking about their day, what they're up to, going to do, their likes and
dislikes is something you can just keep going upon.
I personally like random questions, simple as "What's your fave (insert)".
Those are always fun! Those are just some example though.

My best friend does the one-wordy thing sometimes and he's the only "boring" person
I can deal with with that crap. Of course, he chats more via actually speaking but come on man lol.
