With a little prep, it can heal your co-tank for more than what TBN would have shielded, and heal you for even more making it the best skill to cover tankbusters that hits both tanks at the same time.
Y: I usually compare FFXIV with a theme park, but the Forbidden Land of Eureka won’t be a place where everyone would want to go. For example, there are people who don’t want to go to horror houses because they don’t see the point in getting scared on purpose. For example, on a date, the boyfriend might want to invite the girlfriend to go the horror house, but the girlfriend just doesn’t seem to find it fun. In other words, it’s not like everyone wants to go to the horror house, but there are people who just love the adrenalin rush they get from it. Think of Eureka as something like that.
Nascent Flash heals the target for 25% of your damage, and The Blackest Night shields for 25% of the target's max HP. Therefore, you would have to deal your co-tank's max HP in damage within the Nascent Flash window in order to reach parity in healing. Double Inner Chaos + Upheaval + Fell Cleave + two auto-attacks can often achieve this. If you Inner Release the Fell Cleave + Upheaval, then you will cleanly exceed this threshold.
That's not "a little prep." A shield is also far more practically useful than healing is. Still, Nascent Flash also has 10% targeted mitigation, so I'm fine with saying Nascent Flash is equal to or superior to The Blackest Night for targeted support, under the right conditions. But I wouldn't say that Nascent Flash is better (or worse) than The Blackest Night; they function a little bit too differently for me to make such a general claim.
Okay, but that's not what you said. Saying Nascent Flash is the best skill to cover both tanks doesn't mean a whole lot when its counterparts don't even do that (unless you want to count Sheltron + Intervention)....and heal you for even more making it the best skill to cover tankbusters that hits both tanks at the same time.
That's exactly what I said for several posts.
NF is the best skill because it has the unique feature of covering both tanks, on top of offering equal or even better effect on your partner alone.NF is not "an OT skill". It's a "dual tank skill". Something that DRK and GNB can't do and that would require either a full gauge for PLD (Intervention+Sheltron) or a DPS loss (Clemency), to achieve less power in both situations. And that superior skill has the only drawback of requiring a partner.

You declared that Nascent Flash is better than its counterparts, and then cited that as justification for denying the requested changes.
Your basis for such a claim is lacking, to the point that you had to amend it under scrutiny.
If you said more than you meant to, then that's fine, but I don't expect you to ever concede this point.

This is the claim to which I originally responded.
This is the amended claim....making it the best skill to cover tankbusters that hits both tanks at the same time.
And this :
is the first time I compared NF to its counterpart, before your "original reply".
And another one that also predate your reply :
I didn't amend anything, you just didn't pay enough attention to what I said at the beginning, and didn't repeat every time.

Maybe you shouldn't have jumped right in the middle of a discussion I had with someone else without making sure you knew where it started. I wasn't going to fully remind Shurrikhan why I think that NF being better than the other, as I doubt s/he's a goldfish.

One last try.
The point was that Nascent Flash being "best when used to cover both tanks" doesn't make it "the best" among its counterparts, by that virtue alone.
Did you really not get that?
