Also, 3.x pvp was the best pvp this game has had. There were plenty of good players back then, and not-so-shockingly, many quit after the awful revamp.

You didn't just say try other content, you said "PvP isn't for you" based on a certain mutual aspect between me and whoever else that we don't enjoy. It's like saying I hated my holiday to London last year so maybe Europe isn't for me, just because I didn't enjoy one city out of the entire continent.

I liked 3.x PvP, but it was unhealthy for the longevitity of PvP balance in this game and any half decent player knows that. It doesn't mean pruning it into oblivion was the answer, but without the rework it was on a pretty steep decline.

It would be more like saying that if you didn't like your holiday in London last year, maybe you can try another European country/city. There are plenty of other cities in Europe.

You probably also forgot how 3.5 to 4.0 queues were very good, pretty much the same that they are now. All it needed was GARO and other rewards to stay active.

Right - but there are also plenty of other cities in England, and that I shouldn't write off England just because London sucked, would that not make sense to you?

Also, I think you aren't taking into account there was a point when Garo just simply stopped being farmed and queues more or less went back to "normal". I obviously have to also take into account I'm from EU where the majority of our players play within 3 hours of each other, and I have to make the assumption based on your server you're in NA, where there can be like 8 hours I think worst case scenario between some of your players? I imagine that'll lead to differing queue experiences but I haven't had an NA char since pre-garo. We suddenly got those queues back because awareness of Garo was raised again and players were advised the collaboration was ending and people are obviously going to flock to rewards they know have a limited life. And then the tomestone event started which boosted them even more. Those queues were more for the rewards than the point that "well the PvP was good"

Good queues have always been a direct result of rewards. Interest fades out once people have gotten their rewards, then they come back when new items are introduced. This has happened several times throughout the last 5 years.
