Influx of stubborn players in the Duty Roulettes

Didn't notice much stubborness, tbh, even though I don't run dungeons outside of MSQ-required, MSQ and Leveling roulettes so my "sample range" is not *that* large. Not even during the few dungeons with wipe(s). Sure, I've seen a handful of healing-only healers in lower-level dungeons not reacting to party chat, but nobody knows why they were not responding. I don't check character profiles or would know if their healer is the only job or just the lastest among a couple of lvl 80 ones. Maybe this will change once I hit 80, but seeing as I only care about story content, I dunno about that.

I've only ran into one person in my entire game time that was legit trolling the party but for the most part, everyone seems nice and friendly. If I see new players I'll offer tips on boss mechanics if it's really needed, if they don't want to hear it then I'll just keep to myself.

On Topic: Its nothing new. I only noticed a higher amount of vegetable level players in the leveling dungeons (and I don't mean lalas). Probably since we're in the alt catch-up phase?

That's not an issue specific to the game, or even video game players in general. This generation is just genuinely full of entitled dweebs that'll mess with you just to prove a point.

This is why level jump potions should not exist. Also why we need a better alternative for helping people learn to play the game that is not "Hall of the novice". Many don't know it exist. And harder content like Shinryu at the end of SB. The mass amount of complaints on these very forums "Shinryu is too hard" just baffled me. Story content that actually required some coordination and it's too difficult. Content designed with the purpose of forcing you to learn to play the game the way it was intended, tactfully.

This has nothing to do with jump potions. Bad players will be bad whatever the level. Jumping just makes them have access to content you want to be safe in, but otherwise they would still plague the levelling roulettes and such, making the problem just as bad. It has to do with entitled little whiners who refuse to do a tiny bit of research before entering a dungeon or a raid to make sure they carry their own weight. It's the mentalities, not the system.

All i asked was is this stubborn behavior more of a normal thing than i think it is; i wasn't necessarily whining or complaining (maybe just a little), i just wanted to know since this only started to happen to me a few weeks ago. Especially since this isn't a "i had one bad roulette and i wanna complain", i've been having at least 1 bad run ever day, usually 2 or 3 though, so yeah, it's not an uncommon problem and my entire fc has been complaining about it.

Is stubborn behavior on the upswing? Maybe. I have run into some tanks in low level dungeons who don't seem to understand how enmity works and they just ignore you completely when you offer helpful suggestions. Like, they don't even seem to have their chatbox open (and they may not). Honestly though, I've noticed more that people just don't talk if in DF with randoms. It used to much more lively. I mainly run DF now with friends and FC because it's more fun.
