Sure, that's why they scream, insult or throw a tantrum any time someone doesn't treat the game as a job. Or how they want rewards basically without having to even play the game.
It might be time to reevaluate the definition of "fun".
Also, do you remember the massive amounts of thread claiming that Eureka was absolute trash...yet people still played it for the reward even though they hated it ? Did those players really play the game for "fun" ?

You said it yourself, people fail simple tasks. Just for the record, we're still talking about dungeons. If one think they're hard, one saddly lack really basic MMO skills, sorry...

Here's a little thing that would have made, for me, The Burn much more enjoyable. You make it a big open are (Like it's supposed to) where you start in the center. You put three bosses in a triangle formation around you, that you could do in any order, and, when you've killed all three, the final boss appears back at the center. This way, every run would most likely start with "Hello guys, which one do we do first ?". No reason to fight, rant or anything, since you'll have to kill all of them anyway, but runs won't all be exactly the same.

Y: I usually compare FFXIV with a theme park, but the Forbidden Land of Eureka won’t be a place where everyone would want to go. For example, there are people who don’t want to go to horror houses because they don’t see the point in getting scared on purpose. For example, on a date, the boyfriend might want to invite the girlfriend to go the horror house, but the girlfriend just doesn’t seem to find it fun. In other words, it’s not like everyone wants to go to the horror house, but there are people who just love the adrenalin rush they get from it. Think of Eureka as something like that.
