Nope, it was in the patch notes.

I was about to post the same exact shit. That bottom line..... I missed ****that**** when I read the preliminary notes yesterday, but why close off sales to individuals, but still let anyone relocate? I was sure I'd be able to get my FC a M house, but the few plots I was able to go for, I missed by moments. I would have been able to, had they actually closed it off to INDIVIDUALS completely but SE still doesn't fucking realize nobody gives a fuck about a S size plot. We want the bigger ones. They should have made more M and L avail. If you're gonna release housing, pay attention to the demand and make your new wards accordingly!

Wards 19 through 21 have been added to all residential districts.

The amount of people wanting bigger houses far exceeds the amount of bigger plots available. Not restricting relocation, but restricting sales is pointless -.-

Amen to this. Logged in after 40 minutes of waiting list to find all the mediums already baught by individuals. So much for restriction in favor of FCs. Such a massive mess up on SE's part. Time to wait for Ishgard housing and hope that they wont do the same mistake again...

Speak for yourself. I'd be absolutely happy with a small plot were I able to upgrade the inside into larger floorplans. I don't need a lot of outside space, but as someone who runs event free companies, the size limitation on PC's allowed into the smaller buildings presents an enormous logistics problem. Instead of being able to upgrade to a Large, which would have helped immensely for my FC, I settled for a medium - the single size where I hate the floorplan.

People will get around the FC-only restriction by making single-person FC's. If there is a loophole, players will find it. Would it have been better that SE locked it completely to FC's? Yes, and I'd have absolutely tacked on a requirement that mediums were only open to FC's older than a year, and larges only open to FC's older than two years, but it is what it is.

... and if you seriously think that nothing can be done with apartments (or smalls), you are severely underestimating the creativity of some of those whose endgame is housing, because myself and others work some absolute magic on those small spaces.

Please calm down guys, on a positive note there are some small houses up for grabs.

Also, let's just suggest some housing items such as FC only housing skins, as well as more unique housing skins that are not beast tribe inspired, and maybe increased furnishing slots.

One may not get the desired plot but its still possible to decorate so the estate looks beautiful inside and outside.
