Hmm do we need a new system to help people find like minded people to play with for whatever reasons? Maybe a more deep question type thing? Also got an odd question, which female race is the sexiest? My list is Midlander, Viera,Miqo,Au Ra,Elezen and Highlander. But it really depends honestly. But that's mine from best to ok.

I just want something romantic between me a female player for once. Everyone’s after the cute-cute characters. I tried a male Miqo once and a girl actually considered me. Yet I was going to go back female after a week or so, to go back to femroe, and she completely bailed on me saying that they were gross and blocked me afterwards.

While it was outright cold for her to call female roes gross and then block you, people are naturally going to have preferences towards liking certain races and males/females. While it obviously doesn't apply to everyone in this thread, women (irl) posts have a tendency to drift towards preferring Male characters from what I've seen. (Heck, even I have a bias and like it when my bf switches to his utter hunk of a male Au Ra on occasion.) You can play what you like, but understand that what you like to play may not line up with what people browsing this topic are interested in. Flexible people will always have an advantage on this front in that regard.

I'll also throw in my $0.02 from a woman's pov, but if you're going to be a "special gifted" Roe (or any female race), its best not to advertise it up front. It's unnecessary information that can potentially come off as creepy (As it can give the implication to some that its something you're expecting, otherwise why would you mention it in such a public way?), or just get potential people who have zero interest in that skipping straight over you. Its info better suited for a discussion after an actual relationship has formed, or if your partner is the one who initiates the discussion about such things.

But these are simply my opinions, and I can't speak for anyone else.

The answer is YES. Anyone that represents a minority here (People who prefer more traditional roles, certain under played races such as Roes, etc.) get lost in the crowd or sea of posts. So yes it would be great to have a system that better highlights or represents their interests.

This is an example as to why I gave up on this forum.

So if you answer that your player gender is female. Big time minority.
If you answer that your character is male. minority.
If you answer that you play a male character looking for a female player. Minority.
If you answer that you play a Lala or Roe. Minority
If you answer that you are a player of the female gender but are looking for another female player. Much better odds but still minority.

All of that coupled with the fact that the vast MAJORITY are also going to answer that they are unwilling to change servers which takes that small pool and makes it a puddle in terms of like minded people to share your gaming world experience with before we even get into common interests.

The answer? One would be to categorize the forum into more specific interests. The downside is you don't get as much activity in the forums but the upside is the forums will be more meaningful to those who use them. But there's a reason why so many feel exasperated after reading through the recent pages after returning each day for who knows how long to find it's the same people representing the majority looking for the same things.
