Ok, first of all sorry for posting yet again, but I feel the need to update my info. I thought I shouldn´t, that with a mere "not seeking anything outside of the game" it would suffice, but it seems people either didn´t believe me or were off put by the fact that the player behind the character isn´t as they thought, which I think shouldn´t matter and led to people either disappearing or more recently outright hurting my feelings when all I ask is a gaming partner.
So... hello everyone. I´m a 36 year old married gay man (married to a man, just to be clear) that just wants someone to share his FFXIV time with and maybe experience the eternal bonding if we agree. There´s a thing called roleplaying, you know. I have the same chances of slaying a dragon as I have of cheating on my husband. Again, this should be obvious but I felt the need to explain.
Why with a male character? Well, my roleplaying skills aren´t that advanced
Why with a male player? As I said I could play with a woman, but since I feel more comfortable with men it would take more effort.

After given it some heavy thought I have decided to continue posting this, despite my extreme nervousness with the latest incident (not really sure if you would call it an incident but I can't think of a better way to word this unfortunately) I was very hesitant to even continue looking. My loneliness has guess given me the strength to continue posting here. While I doubt anything will come of it I simply can't ignore that I'm always going to be looking for someone, and what better way than a game I enjoy playing from time to time. Just to be clear though I'm ultimately looking a woman, possibly my soulmate, (future wife?) of whom I can get to know and enjoy the game. I know this is probably an impossibility and extremely rare however seeing as this thread is in place for those looking for anything from friendships to potential real life partners I can't rule out that I may yet find her through this. I obviously won't hold my breath and this is simply an extension of my search for my soulmate.

Willing to transfer? Due to my current financial situation I will not be transfering at this time, of course this is not permanent That being said since I don't have any obligations on Lamia once my financial situation improves I will not have a problem transfering should me and the woman I meet hit it off etc... Of course that also means I won't just go off and transfer on a whim. I'd have to get to know the woman a bit first and establish if they we are both truly willing to commit to whatever it is we end up getting into so as to not waste money on my end. I also honor the opposite meaning I don't expect her to just transfer simply because I'm not willing to do so up front. I'm extremely reasonable .

Personal Interests: I enjoy alot of video gaming ranging from RPG's to racing games, MMO's are my favorite types, anime and I am also into things like My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. I also like listening to chiptunes (it's pretty much all I listen to music wise these days) and I even dabble in creating my own, merely as a hobby though.

Play schedule: Unemployed currently so very flexible schedule.

Do you care if the player in real life is not the same gender as their character?: Yes I do, however I gave it alot of thought and if a woman plays a male character I can overlook this since it's being a bit rude on my part to assume that a woman would be accepting of me playing a female character but I'm not willing to accept her playing a male character, so if a woman enjoys playing a male character who am I to disagree . ALSO This is important: I am not homosexual, or bisexual. Obviously this means I am not interested in males. Given the recent issue I would please ask that you respect this and don't troll me. Character Race: Au Ra Xaela.

Preferred Race: Hyur, Miq'ote, Au Ra. I'm still debating whether I'm willing to accept Roe females. No Lalafel's though, 1. being the obvious size difference, 2. they look too much like children to me and it just comes off as... weird. I have nothing against them outside of that though.

Main class?: Lancer and Red Mage.

Dislikes: People giving me crap about my preferences to things in game, out of game etc... I have honestly have too many to list here.

Goals for the game: To just enjoy the game as much as any solo gamer, and hopefully one day have a significant other to share it with, who can without tying myself to a guild, or in this case an FC.
