    SO the live letter came out a few days ago and here is what we got. AST

    - MP consumption for spells will be adjusted to cost less
    - Potencies are being adjusted as well
    - Regarding cards, Minor Arcana will be adjusted so that it reduces unnecessary steps. One such example would be how it will directly apply Lord/Lady instead of making the card into Lord/Lady and then you use it
    - Specifics of Collective Unconscious will be changed where executing the skill will bring different effects depending on whether you're in Diurnal (HoT and defense barrier of 10% damage mitigation) and Nocturnal (Instantly grant 10% damage mitigation shield that lasts 20 seconds) will be different depending on which sect you're in.

    So it seems that mp costs are just being reduced rather than added a mp recovery which kinda sucks but oh well. The typical potency changes, nothing much there, the minor arcana is a good change since the best way to think about is that when you draw a card, it becomes either lord or lady depending when which one you have in play. The last change is what I'm worried about (edit for later)

    It still won't be as good as a SCH shields. You have a WHM? Bring a SCH, you got a SCH? Bring an AST or Whm. Honestly feel that the minor Arcana change is just a QoL for console players. If Collective unconscious still makes me have to stand perfectly still to use it, making the damage reduction last longer doesn't even matter. You only use it right before a heavy raid wide aoe then go back into your rotation so this is basically pointless. It needs to be placeable aoe to make it even worth buffing. I'm not going to be happy with the class until they change the card system.
