Where is 1.20B, Is 1.21 going to be late?

I think if you subscribed for a 6month subscripition under the basis that "Radical Changes to in-game World" Would be implemented within that time-frame, but were still at 1.22, you'd be entitled to being pissed.

I'm happy with the current service, but I worry about the future with their history in regards to patches.

Fair enough, how many months behind are we from previous patches if you add them all together, it doesn't seem like much to me, maybe 2-3 months at the most.

As you said yourself that there has been delays previously so why would you start paying and think anything would drastically change.

If a customer is promised for a service within a time frame, pays for it, and there is delays, generally the customer is entitled to being angry/dissapointed and is compensated appropiately (In most cases).

Which goes back to my first post about taking a date to literally and the very reason why most MMO devs won't give out information like that because it almost always bites them in the ass.

Of course. I'm sure I agreed to take that risk by accepting their ToS. But like I said, people will be angry with a sloppy service, and you can't take that justified feeling away.

You can offer critisicm's/suggestions prior, in hopes to avoid what appears to be the inevitable.

They're probably also busy analyzing server population in preparation of world merge/shift too. If GildRein assumption is right (see link below); there are two things that might be coming before the end of the month, info concerning world shift/merge and patch 1.20b.

your right i think all the devs got together and are analyzing that as we speak, all 100+ of them.

I really don't see the point about complaining/voicing concern over release dates.
The patches will be ready when thry are ready and there's really not much we can do about it. I guess we could rush them, but then we'd be in the same situation when the game first came out. An incomplete mess. A product of higher pressure to get a game out at a set time, regardles of prepardness.

you are under the impression that there is anything we can do to make them release the patch sooner. i dont believe that to be the case.

There's yet to be a late patch. The only time a patch was "late" was due to an earthquake and Tsunami ontop of near nuclear crisis which hurt the power supply in a good portion of mainland Japan.

Patch 1.21 is early February, isn't today January 17/18th?

They always gave a "Mid/late/early month" time frame and Yoshida mentioned wanting it for late month but they wouldn't make it in time, so technically it was never late given the initial time frame they felt would be kept since it did still come out in that Late November/early December time frame. It's why they avoid giving exact dates.
