I am pretty sure 1.21 will be at march at least lol, we don't even have any news regarding 1.20b yet.

I think the reason people say this is because they're giving us a new mount in a lettered patch and not a main patch. It just seems like an odd thing to do.
To be fair to them, Gobbue does make up for an inevitable delay as far as I'm concerned
My opinion is now that we're paying, the following improvements in regards to patches should be made:Games such as WoW, Dragon Nest, Maplestory, Perfect World, Wakfu ect ect, show what we can except in future patches with Interviews/Youtube/Magazines. But you have to admit, we get left in the dark as much as possible and what we do see, is minimal at best.
- Patch releases should be timed appropiately.
- Patch notes released ahead of time (just add subject to change)
- Delays should be notified ahead of time.
- More bug testing to avoid delays (have dev's learned nothing)
Players expect more for a P2P Service, as they should.
If patch were delayed only once every so often, it wouldn't be an issue.
But given that almost no patches have reached a timely release and almost always go live as far into the quoted time as possible, it seems unfair if we had to pay for extra months for a 2.0 promised in Q4 2012.
With each patch delay the 2.0 release date seems unlikely for 2012, in my opinion.

That is exactly it.
And I am not worried that 1.21 wont come out. I am only worried that it won't be on time like everyone wants it to be(regardless of how every other patch is late and and that we should "expect lateness") I am fully aware, understand and respect that a patch will be out when it's ready and not before, nor do I want rushed buggy content.
I just wants it, and I want a status up date so I know, regardless, good or bad, where do we/they stand.
in my opinion delay happens in every P2P mmo. Hold your horses, this is not another lolwhiteknight vs loltrolls, it's a fact.
Just look WoW, they release patches "when it's done", delaying entire moths. It just happens.
It's never coming abandon all hope.
Me personally I wouldn't mind a somewhat delay for 1.20b and/or 1.21. Nor am I worried that it is not coming out and when its ready, its ready. I would just like not be left in the dark about things. Whatever their plans may be may be at least a once a week update, good or bad news.
So .. now you are paying you are more self entitled than ever ?My opinion is now that we're paying, patch releases should be more professional and timed appropiately.
EG: Delays should be notified ahead of time/More bug testing (have we learned nothing)/Previews of Future content.

The White Knights need to think about the new consequences shrouded for a service which is now P2P.
News flash it doesn't work like that.
It worth noting I'm far from a whiteknight and always ready to give SE shit when they deserve it, but being behind schedule is not one of those times.
If its that unfair then maybe you should rethink paying for the game. But given that almost no patches have reached a timely release and almost always go live as far into the quoted time as possible, it seems unfair if we had to pay for extra months for a 2.0 promised in Q4 2012.

Chances are 2.0 may very well end up in early 2013.
Lets not forget that SE rushed the game to the market once already and that didn't work out so well for them, it would be unwise to do that again.
They also rushed the start of subsciptions out before the new billing system was ready and see how that turned out.

I think if you subscribed for a 6month subscripition under the basis that "Radical Changes to in-game World" Would be implemented within that time-frame, but were still at 1.22, you'd be entitled to being pissed.
If a customer is promised for a service within a time frame, pays for it, and there is delays, generally the customer is entitled to being angry/dissapointed and is compensated appropiately (In most cases).
I'm happy with the current service, but I worry about the future with their history in regards to patches.
