the argument wasn't for 2nd "full" week it was for 2nd week. apples and oranges my friendSadly, most people don't ever count the first week of a month when it's only 1-3 days because if you go by a business standpoint, it's still officially part of the november shipping week.
Though I find it funny people just can't admit it was the 2nd full week of December (which it was) and rather argue semantics for absolutely no reason.
Here's a calendar to help you guys argue over nothing, as usual:
You guys enjoy your debate over nothing ^^

Gosh...
If one team is waiting for the other team to finish to analyze the server population to introduce server merge/shift for 1.20b and announce everything at the same time, it might be why. That's what I meant. Keep posting, you almost have 2000 posts.

Ah...can't say I blame them though. >.< I always assume patches will be later then anticpated though...it is better to release a patch bug free imo then "emergency maintance" for another 8 hours like what used to happen back in the day in XI lol. They always gave a "Mid/late/early month" time frame and Yoshida mentioned wanting it for late month but they wouldn't make it in time, so technically it was never late given the initial time frame they felt would be kept since it did still come out in that Late November/early December time frame. It's why they avoid giving exact dates.

what i meant is i doubt that they are all multitasking as people think. The have people that specialize in things. they all dont just work on everything.Analyzing servers would have nothing to do with slowing down the creation of content.

Yeah..like in 2004 we had one emergency maintanence that lasted for 7 hours, no big problem because the update was 9am, then it was extended 7 more hours -- then extended another 16 hours....needless to say, yeah it gets bad lol.
There, white knight, I help you out explain it!

If a hair splits and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?
Some deep philosophical musings for you this fine day.

Huuuhh...
It's funny that you guys are debating over the release of a patch in the future instead of playing the game and wait for it.
What are you paying for!?
If there are delays, they'll F*cking say it! If you don't believe me, then just look for it =)
Yoshi said the delay of 1.20 would not delay 1.21, that to me says that different teams are working on the various content, so the fact that 1.20 was late, doesn't mean the production of new 1.21 content would be delayed.
So far none of the patches have been overlay late, 1-2 weeks over is pretty good time keeping for games development deadlines.
So long as 1.20b has more than 1 mount in it, it'll keep me pacified until the middle of february, where, according to the diagram on the lodestone 2.0 pdf's, it should be due.
