Increase apartments

Why shouldn't Apartments get upgrades? Because Apartments aren't meant to be comparable to ward housing in general. Apartments are affordable and 1/10th of the cost of even the cheapest Small House Plot.

So literally your only argument against it is that apartments are cheap...and yet, one would assume that by purchasing upgrades, the cost of an apartment would become equivalent to or perhaps even more expensive than an apartment. And an apartment is the same size as a private chamber while being more expensive.

What's the point of getting a house then if apartments are upgradeable? Prestige - a yard - and free companies. There are other incentives SE could add to make a plot desirable over houses but I think most of us don't want that. The fact is that SE has, in fact, posited apartments as a freely available alternative to houses, and yet there's very little reason to get one.
