IF there were a stat bonus having to do with barding, I would rather it be for having X amount of barding sets, but again with some of the bardings being too rare/nearly obtainable, people would be locked out of said stats.
If SE is too lazy to update the traits, stats on bardings could work better. For instance, when you max out tank traits you get a tank barding, put bonus stats on that (+emnity, vitality etc)

Agreed the super rare ones shouldn't have the best stats but they could have comparable stats in certain level ranges.

All ARR Bardings > Certain similar stats
All HW Bardings > Certain similar Stats
All ShBBardings > Certain similar Stats
All SB Bardings > Certain similar Stats ect
