You dont lose gear that you won the lot for when youre kicked lmao. The coin is a completion reward. You no kill last boss? Then you no get completion reward.

You can, however, buy those coins with poetics if need be. In fact, it's typically much faster since they're dirt cheap now and the game practically throws tomes at you. It's also worth noting i260 going into Stormblood and i390 going into Shadowbringers isn't that big of a deal. You can farm the second dungeon (Shisui and Don Meng, respectively) for better gear that has a guaranteed drop.

Whether or not -I- specifically deserved a kick is irrelevant to reimbursement needed for a rampant problem. Even if I were justified to be kicked 9 out of 10 times, the other one needs coverage and it's not just me but thousands of players suffering that a week. We need some coverage for toxic PvE that's weeded out my friend's list real thin. That's why I am suggesting this and only because of GM prompting.

You keep insisting this is some rampart issue yet constantly people in this very thread of voiced they could count the kicks they've received on a single hand. Frequent kicks do not happen... unless you're actually part of the problem. So if this is a routine occurrence for you, well it's a you problem then not a game one.

You're free to disagree with the GM that asked me to do this. And rules are rules whether to liking or not. I don't see it as entitled for at least keeping the tomes I earned from bosses cleared, work performed. This was a compromise I'd already suggested.

Players shouldn't get to decide if I or anyone get reward for effort. Especially not ones moody, volatile, and not team players that turn a disagreeing discussion to an abuse of feature. Keep text to text, don't take it one step further. I've not had this kick-frenzy in any other MMO or FF14 before data center rolls, I suppose due to that there was more heterogenity of people thinking that progressing the dungeon was more important than throwing a tantrum and kicking someone to sit and twiddle thumbs for 5-10 minutes for tank/healer.

Players are more volatile than ever. I highly suggest some protection of the fallout at least through PvE.
